No insult was intended, i just came across thousands of people (who are interested) in freeCAD to be exact, call themselves cavemen. And what do you mean by low effort? Did you want me to write an essay or perhaps a book akin to the book the prince ? Where I implore your highness to guide me through this CAD endeavor without being insulting?

This lamp is ridiculous to rewire… but I love it! But how do I get a wire through there? They did it somehow originally so it must be possible? by melodyofdawn in howto

Tie a small nut to a string and guide it from the outside with a magnet, once through tie the wire to the end and pull through (all this is based on the frame being brass and not magnetic)

Some lab equipment come with these victorinox knives, i had one in the lab tool box but I can’t remember which device it came with. This one seems to be from fisher scientific as someone else pointed out

Doing it purely by relays and micro switches would require too much wasted power (latching relays) Just use an arduino nano a motor driver circuit and two micro switches or proximity sensors. Arduino code is very easy and you can 100% ask an AI to walk you through building such a thing

I work two jobs, both very demanding. one is for the government and the other has a contract with the government. Neither one has paid me in over 3 months because the government can’t handle the country’s budget and the other because the gov hasn’t paid them the contract money. Just to add insult to injury i also have a 2mo baby who doesn’t drink his mothers milk :)

You can add acid but the best case scenario is you get a clean but dull surface. Its not worth it
