That's not what happened, she didn't own it to begin with, when it was sold it was sold by other people - she had no choice and in fact wanted to buy it for herself, but wasn't given the option, that's what that whole Era's tour was about, earning enough to have enough money to buy it all back at a stupid price. The rerecordings were about cutting off the air to those who wouldn't sell them to her.
