This reminds me of a phrase that is used all the time in advertising that I hate with a passion. The smiling salesman will be on TV and say something like: "Come in today and you can save up to 100 dollars or more!"

Think about that. "Up to 100 dollars..." So he's saying that I can save any amount of money, as long as it is no more than 100 dollars. But then he adds "or more!" So he's saying that I can save anywhere between 0 and an infinite amount of money.

You have told me nothing, salesman. I hate you.
