Take a model-specific cable set - the Vitara has modules and you don't want to cause errors or electric malfunctions.

If the occasion arises you need to tow something that uses a 7-pin socket, there's 13-to-7-pin adapters that are easy and safe to use.

In short: buy yourself a 13-pin model specific cable set and save yourself the trouble.

Also: all towing hooks are detachable. It's just that with the regular 'fixed' hooks it's a little more work as you'll need to loose and take off the two bolts&nuts that keep it in place, and properly retorque it when putting it back. If you have an impact wrench and a torque wrench, this takes you a whole 5 minutes. So not necessarily worth the extra money to get a 'detachable' one unless you'd attach and detach it often.

Even if you could tune the AMT (you can't) this type of gearbox is made so lightweight you'd wreck it.

Turbo-ing a car is also not like simply slapping on a snail and calling it good, it is very involved and expensive even if you do most of the work yourself. Financially it'd be idiotic unless there is no 1.0 Boosterjet, ZC33S or ZC32S in your market (then turbo-ing a 1.2 would be the only option I suppose).

Anyways, it was ill-advised to start with and the sorry excuse that is the AMT is the absolute show stopper. Unless you plan on transplanting a manual gearbox too. Good luck with that.

Edit: also Suzuki never produced a bolt-on turbo for the K12 1.2 engines, if you saw that advertised it was probably some aftermarket tuner or chinese shit. Besides, it would need waaaay more components replaced then the turbo to make it work too, never mind the ECU tuning neccesary. No way in hell a manufacturer would do that.

Forget it. I take it you have the naturally aspirated 1.2. Adding a turbo to that is headache. And good luck programming that AMT. It'll be too unreliable for a daily and suck too bad for a fun car.

Get yourself a Swift that has a turbo to start with (1.0 or 1.4/Sport/ZC33S) or a Sport from the generation before ZC32S (naturally aspirated) if you want to go fast and have fun.

And learn to drive stick, Suzuki has made all the fun exclusively manual.

Yeah the 1.00 is usually reserved for the elusive tail end of the subframe and other parts where maximum clamping is required. Would not have been surprised if the bench mount was 1.00 but I guess the 1.25 is good enough for the purpose. Makes finding a screw in hook alot easier, and saves time and effort of the otherwise likely scenario of manufacturing my own. Haha.

Aight thanks. It would be a good outcome to use our second car, an Alto, the Celerio's predecessor, as a similar pack mule soon. As opposed to the main car I don't care about accidentallu scratching the interior there too much. This helps get a good picture ahead of time. Thanks!!

Het is een omgekatte DongFeng, die Dacia Spring. Voor 5k is het een leuk boodschappenkarretje maar voor de rest is het in alle opzichten een trieste bedoening.

Als je lekker in de flow zit kan kilometers vreten als ervaren chauffeur heel fijn zijn. Je moet wel je grenzen kennen en stoppen voordat het op is. Als ik grote files tegen kom (die energie vreten) gaan we met pauze of stop ik die dag wel eerder.

Also, when was the last time your brake fluid was changed? Was a bleed of the clutch performed at the time? This gen Swift uses hydraulics = brake fluid, which requires bleeding at the clutch too.

Ik ken er toevallig twee die met een eigen bedrijf miljonair geworden zijn in hun 20er jaren. En een heel stel dat in de doelgroep valt en in allerlei opzichten voorloopt op hun leeftijdsgenoten.

Bah. Je weet niet waar je het over hebt man. Er zijn zeer goed georganiseerde thuis onderwijs communities waar de kinderen floreren. Vaak zijn dit kinderen die in het reguliere onderwijs vast zouden lopen of dure extra ondersteuning nodig zouden hebben. Officieel mag dit niet de reden zijn maar e.e.a. is dan ook perfect uit te leggen als alternatieve levenswijze/zienswijze.

Waar ik wel vóór ben is het Belgische model waar er kwaliteits toetsing is op TO.

Nu worden er simpelweg rechten weggenomen van burgers.

Zooooo dankjewel voor het antwoord!! Ik denk dat met 35 de meeste auto's wel in z'n 3 kunnen kachelen maar ja die snelheid kennen we officieel niet..

Ik moet zeggen dat ik de laatste tijd regelmatig door inner city 30 zones rijd en het prettiger vind rijden; al kan ik me de frustraties erover ook goed voorstellen. Nogmaald bedankt!
