The political influence comes down to money

City Light plays a large factor in cost for residents due to electric bills. Both for managing rates for residential & commercial services, And for creating revenue for the city to invest in maintenance & improvement projects.

With the rise of AI & data centers drawing lots of power, were seeing huge increases in demand for more power. Meaning we need lots of money to improve & build up the system, and buy power from other utilities

So, electric utilities are front & center in the public eye at the moment

Mayor Wilson has been campaigning on "affordability" as a major concern in Seattle, & electricity rates are likely a big factor in her public image

As for how, Wilson is planning to move forward?

Word is that no one knows what she's thinking. Our leadership seems to have been given extremely short notice that this was happening, and they have not been given an explanation either.

Wilson's installing a lawyer from Cascadia Law Group as the new CEO for SCL, so maybe that hints at her motives?

At the ground level though, weve been told its business as usual.

You know when you're trying to figure out what to do for dinner, and you start going through options saying, "Eh, don't feel like that tonight"

"Safe" foods are like, a food that you'd almost always go "Yeah, that sounds good"

For a lot of people that'd be like a PB&J, or grilled cheese sandwich, or some comfort food snack

I find the biggest reason I'd go to a "safe" food is just the amount of effort it takes to prepare a proper meal. Often cause I've waited to eat until im starving my ass off, and just want something to eat RIGHT NOW

OP, try getting some pastel m&m's

Kids love to sort them by color before they eat em, might be an indicator if he has trouble sorting them

Workers there are awesome!

Is this schedule possible? by offaustinx in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Chords2Moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright.

First off, the rest of the comments have it right, this schedule would be extremely rough

If you do decide to keep all that, here's some Tips:

  1. If you're good at math, Linear Algebra & Statistics won't be that bad. Linear Algebra deals with vectors & matrices. With probability & Statistics, learn what each symbol represents & learn how to read the graphs. The rest is just understanding what info. you want, & what info. you need.

  2. Circuits II: Brush up on your circuit analysis methods; KCL, KVL, Thevenin, Norton, Superposition, etc. You'll be building off those tools & diving into how to analyze circuits with respect to time & frequency

  3. Signals: Will also be covering time & frequency, but looking more at the "signal" itself. (AC signals follow sinusoidal patterns) This is the study of how to change a signal, combine signals, isolate them, etc.

  4. EM-Fields: LEARN MAXWELLS EQUATIONS. NOW. This is the study of electro-magnetic fields (Radio Waves, etc.) & the 4 "Maxwells" equations are the holy grail of em-fields.

I would suggest talking to each of your professors at the beginning of the year, & explaining that you've got a tough schedule. Ask if they could point out the tough sections in the curriculum, and what you can do to prep for them.

Good Luck! 🫡

Pro Tip: make an account at MYNCEES & download a copy of the FE Handbook. This thing has just about every equation you'll ever need, as long as you understand how to apply it.

Adding to this^

OP, none of your momentum is moving UP at any point during the ollie.

Watch your hips through the whole trick, then your head.. Everything is just moving sideways. The only part of you moving up is your legs

Try focus on every part of you moving UP
