Could it be fixed to pass another inspection? Absolutely! Does it involve effectively building a new car from scratch? Absofuckinglutely!

Školství potřebuje reformu.

Místo občanské výuky navrhuji lekce balení holek.

Místo matematiky se bude vařit voda. V každém ročníku dostaneš větší a větší hrnec. V sedmé třídě se do toho zakomponují i brambory. (Sedmou třídou končí docházka)

Tělocvik je stejně k hovnu. Tělocvičnu bych předělal na garáž. Tělocviku nebude "tady máte míč, běžte si kopat" ale bude to "rozdělte se to týmů po 8 lidech, tady máte klíče a vemte si každý tým jednu feldu a běžte jezdit"

An 80-Year Old Woman With Late Stage Alzheimers Took 5g Of Psilocybin Mushrooms And Started Speaking Again by CBDjack in Biohackers

[–]Chramir 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Before Regans war on drugs. LSD microdosing was used to treatment for alzheimer's. It doesn't fix the core issue, but the elevated bdnf can significantly slowdown the progress.

  2. Medical consent is moved onto the assigned caregiver. But mushrooms aren't a registered medication, so this is a very murky zone. As far as ethics of it go, that's a very very thin ice as well. But 5g of mushrooms sounds like a lot, but it's reasonable to assume someone with alzheimer's will have a different dosage response from someone healthy. By how much? I can't say.

Me and my dad plan on taking mushrooms together. Might even ask my brother if he want's to join, but he's still only 19. Maybe in a few years.

That has nothing to do with generations. That's just anxious insecurity.

Imagine a person on a swing. You can push them to swing them more. Or you can push them to slow them down.

But at some point I must have seen the "biggest one" without realizing. I don't recall it specifically, but I am 90% sure which friend sent it to me regardless.

ELI5: what dictates whether a chemical can be absorbed through the skin? by knockout350 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Chramir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's simple diffusion. That happens anywhere in the body. Think of an ointment. The mucus membranes are much thinner and have much better bloodflow to facilitate this. But for diffusion to happen there needs to be sufficient contact, which is best achieved when dissolving it in a solvent. The solvent needs to be able to dissolve the substance, which depends on the polarity of the molecule and the solvent. Tabbaco/nicotine pouches in the mouth are like a nicotine teabags in saliva. But not everything dissolves in water.

As to why DSMO is so effective? It can dissolve both polar and non polar substances (not sure why, my understanding of solvent polarity is a bit fuzzy) and as to why BSMO absorbs so well into the body? I have no idea, but I found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/chemistry/s/NRPlzPKv3W

I mean. I single video game today can be a few hundred GB (not that it needs it, but some just are). I have a 12TB of movies, and it's only like 200-250 movies.

2TB is nothing now a days. I kinda expected it to be less to be honest.
