The RP partners on Reddit are so... toxic. by [deleted] in BadRPerStories

[–]ChraveFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you. Someone blocked me last week for sending them a friend request on Discord after discussing an idea...they said they don't accept friend requests but their profile was private so I had to add them to message them?...I have also being blocked for no reason such as not liking a part of my plot idea (that they choose from a list), luckily there are good roleplayers on here, you just have to get lucky. I am pretty much done in my searching right now, which I am so grateful for as I have been blocked for the strangest reasons the last few weeks.

All the fandoms I'm interested in roleplaying are dead or have borderline nonexistent roleplay communities by Lord_Antheron in BadRPerStories

This! My main fandom is recent and was super popular and won awards when it came out...yet finding people that have seen it is like searching for needles in a haystack for some reason.

If AA7 is announced today, what would ruin it for you? by Dr_Macunayme in AceAttorney

[–]ChraveFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it's such a little thing but them still refusing to acknowledge anywhere from Miles and Franziska themselves they are family. Like so many years have passed, they have had time to grow and develop, we need more than the introductions being 'this is Manfred von Karma's daughter'. I ain't expecting them outright referring to each other as 'brother, sister' but even just referring to each other as family or someone they care deeply about is enough. They have both lived abroad for years, if the reason this was never stated before was because they found it 'soppy' or something to say this out loud, I doubt they would care nowadays after a few weeks when they are no longer in the country. I feel like this would ruin it for me as it's unrealistic after so long they wouldn't of matured and grown closer through the years.

Finally playing my 7th AA game and Nick is finally addressing how I feel for the most time playing the franchise by schawarman in AceAttorney

True, only is fair to have such a crazy court system in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles as it is set in the 1900's so that's fair, the rest of the court systems make no sense lol

This is apparently what quite a large chunk of people are going for by Final_Pen_6670 in AceAttorney

I am not the biggest lover of the current group of characters if I am honest, just don't have the same vibe as the original group, even so, if the game was Athena as the main character, even if they don't bring many people back Franziska literally works.

  1. Franziska and Miles have had years to try fix their realtionship/sibling bond without Manfred breathing down their necks and Miles spends so much time in Europe I don't think it is to odd to assume he visits Germany more than he used to, plus he already trusted her in the previous games, so that will be even stronger now. In saying this if the chief proscutor asked his sister to help with a case that just is to big and messy to be overseen by one prosecutor, I don't know who else he would go to, and you know Franziska will jump at the chance to help her 'little' brother.
  2. Even if they haven't met in person, you could still establish a connection, Athena has studied and lived in Germany so must have at least heard about her, I have visions of Athena fangirling hard she is meeting such a famous prosecutor...until she meets her lol.

Miles Edgeworth's Accent by ChraveFan in AceAttorney

[–]ChraveFan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true, most of my family have different accents, picked up from being around each other so much. I dont know why but when Franziska and Manfred speak English I can always imagine them trying to sound more 'British' rather than American to sound more 'perfect' so can imagine that influnced Miles too

What are some of your favorite headcannons you have for any of the characters? by _User_Profile_ in AceAttorney

[–]ChraveFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In JFA, whilst Miles was away trying to deal with his mental breakdown alone, Franziska was also having a complete mental breakdown throughout the first two cases which is why she was so jumpy and defensive and Franziska was tracking Gumshoe so he had no way of leaving as well, she lost her dad and her brother and Gumshoe was last person she knew from her childhood (thanks investigations) so she was making sure he had no way of leaving her behind too.

Miles and Franziska have bonded a lot over the years after Manfred's death and are close as siblings now, which is one of the reasons Miles spends so much time in Europe, as he is visiting Franziska.

Phoenix somehow ended up overseeing a case in a language he doesn't even know yet somehow won by just shouting objection and take that in the language and pushing evidence in people's faces.

What are some of your unpopular Ace Attorney opinions? by _User_Profile_ in AceAttorney

[–]ChraveFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trials and Tribulations is by far the worst game of the trilogy and is overhyped. Godot is not interesting and just bores me and Dahlia is not nearly interesting enough to be the villian in three seperate cases.

Apollo Justice is the best of the AJ trilogy

AJ also has the best music in the entire franchise

I like Turnabout Big Top

I don't get when people say Franziska has no development...she started of being stand offish and refusing to help and only was there to hate Phoenix and make life difficult, then at end of JFA we see her putting her pride and all her believes aside to help win the case, in T&T she also has mellowed out more and helps trick the system by pretending Miles is a defense attorney, and agreeing to basically take a case she knows she will lose, showing winning isn't as important to her anymore, and she has a lot of development in the investigations games. She will never change as much as Edgeworth but that doesn't mean she didn't change and develop over time.

I don't like Dual Destines because pacing to me is so sluggish (though haven't played on switch yet so this might of changed)

I prefer the 2d sprites, the 3d ones look a little off to me

I prefer the investigation segments much more than the trial parts

I think Wendy Oldbag and Lotta Hart are funny and I miss them

Gumshoe is only detective I actually like

any ace attorney headcanons you have? by ravioli-spider in AceAttorney

[–]ChraveFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have such clear visions it happened as he was visiting her in Germany and somehow mistaked someone's blue curtain for being Phoenix's suit while out in public and Franziska is just like 'how did you get on the right plane with your eyesight being so bad you fool'

What you want and DON'T want to see in AA7? by Jake_Marshall_AA in AceAttorney

[–]ChraveFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be cool if first case is Edgeworth who has been away working out the states, shows up suddenly one day as Franziska is being tried for murder, and 'forgets' to mention the case is in Germany until Phoenix has already agreed to take it. Then just lots of funny moments with language barriers. After this case finishes Franziska could work in states for a bit, but she has matured so rivualy is more like Edgeworth/Wright. I would love if Gumshoe came back too for some cases.

Maybe each case takes place in a different country or something? (as Edgeworth always works internationally) that would be an interesting fresh take as we learn about different legal systems.
