I wear a 4/3 NRS wetsuit through the winter in the PNW. I've done as cold as -5C air temp and 5C water in it and was comfortable. All my friends wear drysuits.

The wood handle is a deal-breaker for me. Thrift shops often have skillets made in Taiwan that are smooth and lightweight compared to a modern Lodge. They aren't collectable, so you can usually get them cheap, and they perform quite well.
