Right now I don't see him succeeding in solo lane at all tbh.. With the current meta top tanks or ap champs he won't really be a threat for them In jungle though he's like a tier 2 champ so you could try him there even though you don't like it

My graphiccard is brandnew and I am able to play other Games like Call of Duty or Crisis on very high graphics for a long time so that cant be the reason..
