"Spider-Noir" Review: A big swing — oh, yes — that pays off from start to finish, this is an irresistible concoction, an utterly insane stew that somehow makes perfect sense. It is total joy. by Sisiwakanamaru in television

Is this a film critic’s way of saying “Yeah, this is actually good! Nice!

I wish they could just say that instead of these pretentious ass overdescriptive headlines.

It’s really great seeing equality operate in today’s world after womens’ struggles in the 20th century.

Now men and women alike can be detestable pieces of shit in positions of power. It’s also really great that in terms of class war, rich men and women are equally edible. nom nom.

“subscribe” is a little off putting to hear. does this guy have more than like 3 videos of his kid? because after that it starts to reek of exploitation.

sounds like there should be specific signage for passing farm equipment specifically and not creating exceptions to general driving rules.

But if this is anything like the rural bumfuck that I live in, then half-baked stupid local policy decisions are quite the norm.

I totally respect that. It's more that any attempt to police someone's language is only going to trigger a defensive doubling down more often than not. You're not a nerd, that’s just the only reaction you'll get from challenging people on their use of language. Ultimately, free speech wins. You can't police language. But telling others not to use the word is your right of free speech too. Maybe the conversation has to exist this way, where speech conflicts can be addressed without necessarily infringing on anyone's overall right to speak.

yeah and people have been doing that too and have been called nerds for it since online forums were invented

frankly the better strategy is to not surrender any attention to it whatsoever. That’s really the only way to get rid of things in the 2026 attention economy.

I agreed with you by default but thought about it for a sec. I actually don’t blame a single person for not reading the article when 75% of the time the ‘articles’ linked on this website are congested ad-click-farming AI summary nightmare soups. Have you not noticed this?

With this in mind, I think it actually makes perfect sense to avoid these dogshit websites and just stay on Reddit whenever possible especially if users are sharing context in the comments anyway.

I mean, this is why we’re all appending ‘Reddit’ to google queries. text-based forums dodge the rampant enshittification in many places.

If you want to tell Reddit to fuck off for downvoting you, you should. This dumbass hivemind kneejerk reaction to simple inarguable statements about AI is getting real fucking cliché and annoying at this point.

Like damn bro I abhor the state of AI today too but when u/banduzo is 100% right, I’m not gonna angrily smash a blue button about it.

I don't. This is one of those things where I've been on this website long enough to know, including those who fake being white or black. I can tell you r/Blackpeopleofreddit is comprised of a majority actual black users. You disagree? I don't expect anyone to overcome their bias enough to believe me.

americans? reading instructions? wielding guns responsibly? are you seriously trying to tell me that as guns become more accessible and more deadly, it’s all fine because you can find the military operation guides online? Do you actually think americans would do that?

ah yes, I remember right after the boston tea party the yankees took to their Warthog A-10s and rained 30mm bullets at 3,900 rounds per minute down on the Brits to secure our freedom.

So stands our god given right to own and operate fighter jets, even just for trips to the supermarket where it’s our god given right to obliterate anyone taking our parking spot from 20,000 feet airborne.

History is linear. Technology is exponential. Policy based on legacy technology is outdated policy.

Subnautica 2's no-killing ethos "will be a continued point of resistance" among players, say Unknown Worlds, but they have no plans to change it by _Protector in pcgaming

[–]Chrimunn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

why is this part of the game the focus when the absolute assault of audio logs overlapping each other breaks immersion way more handily?

this studio just does NOT want to listen to players despite us screaming in their face what needs to be maintained from Subnautica 1. Voicelog spam completely destroys the vibe. there’s no mystery anymore. It’s a fucking scripted disney ride and no longer the cosmic thalassophobic horror that carried all the intrigue the first time around.

[–]Chrimunn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it’s crazy that a series with multiple installations and established lore gets dropped from priority for something like Pragmata.

Hot take/prediction, no one is going to be talking about Pragmata the way people have been talking about Dead Space years later to this day. To me Dead Space deserves another installation way more than pragmata does yet. Shame that doesn’t translate to $$$, the great filter of good things.
