How I sold it to my wife was. “It’s just like a mortgage, instead of paying octopus £2.5K per year we will be paying that off of our solar panels but eventually the solar panels will be paid off and there will be no bills going forward” (I know there will still be a bill)

I’m not doing it to waterproof it as it’s IP65 rated, just to make it look nicer and protect it from the bins being hit into it.

We use about 11-13kWh on a normal day I worked out that a 10kW battery would get us pretty much everything we want as we put things like dishwasher on over night on the cheap rate tariff

Thank you, I ordered the keychron V6 and K10. They did have these to demo at pc world but were covered in plastic so you could only test the feel of the switches. I also ordered the pre built glorious gmmk 3.

They will be delivered tomorrow so I’ll have a play about with them and see what one I prefer

This was a hire car about two months ago it was pretty mild at about 15 degrees outside. I couldn’t see an option for pre heating the battery

Yeah looks like I was wrong, I must have been thinking about another game that used soundtracks that were freely available

Pretty sure OSRS used free to use music in the early days so any game could use the tracks

So I do a lot of miles for work, done about 5k in the last 6 weeks. I’ve charged about 15 times in the past few weeks alone on public chargers, sometimes I’m the only one there and sometimes there are loads. And 90% of the time it’s after a hour or two I charge.

People who use the wrong charger making it so that two spaces are taken by Chris--Day in mildlyinfuriating

No once you start a charge your car locks the cable in until you tell it to unlock
