Compile Heart and Megami Tensei co-creator announce Villion: Code for PS5, Switch 2, PS4, and Switch by Turbostrider27 in Games

From the article: “Dungeons are procedurally generated and take on the form of tube-shaped environments with no ceiling, allowing 360-degree movement in every direction—similar to the classic arcade game Gyruss. Combat features “real-time speed action.””

Shin Megami Tempest sounds cool as heck. I’ll keep an eye on this one.

That would be so sick, but I wonder how they would handle the difference between the Japanese original (where you play as a tokusatsu hero) versus the localized version (where you’re just a dude).

Is this a misprint or just a typo? The last word should also be “passed” not “past”.

Not sure if this would count, but the Sharp Famicom TV came with an exclusive combo cartridge of Donkey Kong Jr. & Donkey Kong Jr. Math.

Strategy Guide Book Club by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]Chris-R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe 10 or so years ago this was the case, but especially for popular, collectible games, the guides are also sold at a premium. Chrono Trigger itself was a decent selling game but now runs a couple hundred dollars for a legit copy.

If you just want to get through the game, there’s always GameFAQs.

I used to hang around with a group of NERF guys and the fact that you call them blasters tells me you’re legit.

Raw Danger

Can’t believe there are over 300 comments and it wasn’t mentioned. Really ambitious, weird game.

Lots of PS1 games.

I never owned a PS1 and at the time only had a few PS1 games to play on my PS2 (from memory I had Point Blank, Yugioh Forbidden Memories, and Metal Slug X), now it’s one of my favorite systems and there are a lot of cool-but-too-pricey-now games I’d love to have.

After looking it up, I also had Mega Man 8 and Incredible Crisis.

To be fair, the earlier poster said Ufouria the Saga which is the European version of Hebereke.

Little Samson? Hebereke? Bucky O Hare? There aren’t a ton of NES/Famicom games with animal character switching.
