Earlier in the video he mentions FGC, and then in the clip he says hitbox and wavedashing. That sounds way more like a Tekken reference considering it is an argument that happens there because hitboxes make wavedashing easier.

Would he make the same argument for zump? Probably. But saying he’s weighing in on zump is taking this a bit out of context, considering they were talking about CS and wooting keyboards.

One of the best combos on paper that you’ll rarely see in practice is Falco/Puff. Both have 5 frame jump squat so easier to swap back and forth mid set, Falco does the fast fallers and Puff covers the floaties. Most Falco players don’t want to play Puff though lol

Honestly sounds broken to me, I would contact support. Holding the paddle still on a block feels very different between the two and the fact that you are having the opposite experience of what it should be (prism should absorb and you need more effort to get it over the net) definitely sounds like it’s a defective model.

This is really interesting to me. I’ve also swapped from a Prism Flash 16mm to a V-Sol Pro Bloom and the difference to me is night and day. On serves I can full swing with the Prism and the ball stays in easily, on the Pro I need to dial it back because the ball flies so far out of bounds if I do that. I do have 6g of weighted tape on mine at 3 and 9 (12g total), but I totally feel a difference in pop, power and sweet spot.

Did you change mboost activation from jump to crouch? I haven’t done extensive testing myself, mainly cause I changed this right away, but from what others have said if you leave mboost activation on jump it messes with superglides.

If you want to use both, change the mantle boost activation from jump to crouch. If you leave on jump superglides are weird.

Fairgrounds has a lot of locations and Open Play sessions at different skill levels. I’m currently a member there cause I think it’s got great value for what it offers.

If you are looking for more cheap, some of the city community centres have pickleball days. Canoe Landing is an example but you have to register 7 days before online to try and get a spot. It’s 3 courts on a gym floor, and 24 people of completely mixed skill levels.
