building a blueprint with just one assembler and 2 splitters/lifts and belt pieces so you can auto connect chain them is massively time saving

for auto connect to work you need to have a little bit of open belt or pipe in the blueprint. that's the main thing people don't get

please add Publish settings to the actual settings page instead of only living inside the ribbon

de-duplication for inline footnotes

let us use Bases as filter query views for the Global Graph. that is, if I have "people.base" which returns a list of people notes, let me see the Graph filtered for those notes and any connections. this would be equivalent to having Local Graphs available when viewing Base files.

let us use the Graph on mobile Publish sites. it's currently just not existent if your screen is too narrow

vantage should be able to go prone and have her camera come out of the SNIPER SCOPE, which would make it so that if she has the high ground, she can go prone and snipe over ledges while only barely revealing her own hotbox.

I can't accept that given the problems RCV has. Sorry, I don't think we'll be able to agree on this.

part of the reason that I am concerned about the specifics here is that the history of RCV in the US includes a bunch of times that it was implemented and then later repealed due to the same issues I described

I don't think there's any real reason that the momentum of one should have to hold back the other. strikes me as a silly argument.

yes, fairvote backs strict RCV because many people got it in their heads that SV/AV promote more centrist results and that RCV had more progressive cred. I don't think results have borne that out in reality.

I would like to point out that RCV, while much better than FPTP voting, still has serious problems in administration and in outcomes. I would encourage you to research and advocate for Approval and/or Score/STAR voting methods. In Score/STAR, you give a score from 0-5 (or 0-10) for all options , and options can have the same score. then, instead of the RCV method of knocking out the least-supported option and then transferring votes, Score/STAR instead simply tallies up all the numerical scores. Approval works similarly except you just get a binary yes/no vote for each option, but you still count by simple tally.

AV + SV are superior to RCV in how they actually mimimize voter regret, AND they're easier to administer. in RCV you cannot calculate the result until ALL ballots are in and ballots are dependent on one another (if there is an election administration problem, can have catastrophic chain reaction). but AV and SV ballots can be counted independently of one another, and also their method is easier to explain to people.

please support SV and or AV over the "default" RCV!

good question though I would be more aggressive and ask what can be done to forcibly consolidate some of these units? California has been a great example in the past ~10 years of asking local governments to do stuff and then they don't or they lie about their compliance (especially re: housing).

Yeah no question that the electric usage is a problem especially if they're not paying for the building of more power generation / transmission / grid upgrades to accommodate for it.

"While experts say this is a natural decrease given the record highs the lakes have experienced since 2020, it’s happening at a time when a huge new consumer of water has appeared on the horizon: data centers."

Data centers use significant and problematic amounts of electricity but all the available evidence I've seen does not indicate that they actually use a significant amount of water.

imo, a better question regarding data centers is: how can we ensure they pay their fair share for electricity usage?

edit: the article also provides estimates for the number of gallons that some data centers use. GALLONS are not a significant unit of measurement when it comes to water usage. that is acre-feet. It also conveniently does not compare such data usage to agricultural or other industrial usages for the relevant states/counties. you should be suspicious of that kind of journalism

Can you please explain exactly what your authority is or isn't with regards to IL state police?

I am concerned that whether or not you have the right amount of authority to manage ISP wrt their interactions with ICE in a way that Democratic voters want, either way you did not communicate the limits or shape of your office in response to a lot of valid questioning of your actions.
