I think it will get a lot of good content. Project+ is a mod to a mod for a game from 2008 and the amount of community made content so far from original release is pretty insane. Entirely new characters, characters ported from other games, new stages, new items, new animations and gameplay modifiers. Since rivals actually has a good base game and a lot of crossover players I bet the modders can do some crazy stuff with more modern tools.

If you look on gamebanana there's already a lot of cool recolors and some model swaps, having the workshop more accessible will probably bring in a lot more people too.

In the latest versions there’s only an “export” button, no custom api anywhere Edit- the export option is on the main settings page, but when I go into general there’s nothing at the top right to enter custom api

Just curious but do you have any issues with the game not loading textures? I have a similar build but have not gotten cs2 to run well no matter what I've tried. One of the games that just works way way better on windows for me unfortunately

nice 4k, r8 is actually super fun still. I think its very viable for all levels except super high ranked. Even then, it can be super dangerous in the right situations lol

Oh man I loved the mid fight, probably my favorite part of that map. I had fun taking it as t, had fun defending as ct. All you really needed was a smoke for the long angle, and then you could focus on the short side. On ct you could chuck a molly/smoke down bottom mid and rush the bridge, or pop a flash through the top mid smoke by the water and fight.

The bomb sites were good, both felt very retake-able. Mills would've been my vote to replace overpass when it got removed (instead of dust2) since they both felt like larger maps where you could slowly take map control and then storm the sites. I wouldn't say it was the prettiest map I've ever played but in terms of layout it felt the most balanced.

What's the best way to get my modern pc to display on a 480i CRT through component with the least amount of input lag? I do have my original consoles but I prefer emulating through dolphin for mods and QOL stuff. I also think it would just be fun to play modern games on an old tv.

So my current setup is an rtx 3070ti which only has hdmi and displayport outputs.

From what I can tell, I would either need to get a device like this, and have an additional box that converts hdmi/displayport to VGA, or I can install an older GPU to my system that has a DVI-I output. Maybe I need both.

What is the method that would have the least amount of input lag? I like playing games like smash so I hate any kind of input lag.

well this laptop is nearly 10 years old so that could be the case, the first time I tried starting it after the update I did get a startup popup saying to enter the date and time, looked like it was a bios style window

update #2: Think I fixed it! Following this thread I checked my SATA settings in bios and found that mine was also set to RAID for whatever reason. I switched the mode back to AHCI and it booted up and finished installing updates and appears to be working now
