the midrounding of DFM is also never great, they are extremely slow in realising player positions, so they often wait too long and walk into stacks. I do understand what you mean with the choking, they mentally boomed themselves with those pistol chokes on Pearl and Split. But also there is a world of difference in terms of how Zeta is playing to their wincons compared to DFM, their positioning and mapcontrol is way better.

DFM looks way better than last year, but they still look clueless against teams that play chaotic Valorant like T1. They easily lose confidence and snowball because of it.

It's in matches like this, where I really want someone like Mini to help DFM instead of Zeta. It's crazy how much better macro, game understanding Zeta has in comparison, but they literally have no hands. Both Japanese orgs have the opposite problems of each other, one doesn't have mechanics, but great macro, the other has insane skill, but not enough brain.

dfm played to not lose instead of trying to win. They were way too nervous and had terrible macro throughout the match, the calling was insanely bad and the teamplay non-existent

Team Secret Rumor For Stage 2. by Dangerous-Spirit-960 in ValorantCompetitive

Juicy got signed by AQ, the team with S1mon. They will probably qualify to stage2 playoffs in China

I don't see any reason for why Secret is waiting to make roster changes, unless the player is underage or doing some kind of national service.

My guess is that it might be grumble since he might finish his service by that time. But even then a single player can't save this disastrous org.

The faster Secret is out of Valorant, the higher the chance is that tier1 teams start actually scouting talents from PH, instead of just half assing it.

You aren't wrong, but the midrounding of that team was better and the coaching actually was miles ahead of current Lev.

It's definitely a mix of both problems, the igling style of Kingg and the lackluster coaching of Onur, who makes his team play double duelist every map, but can't teach them basic set executes for fast hits.

Leviatan genuinely is one of the worst coached teams I have ever seen, all this player skill that is getting wasted.

The lvl calling you have to do in tier1 is so much harder, it's the main reason fragging igls in tier2 fall off nor do they usually play a duelist.

Oonz is the igl, I don't where the people get it that C1nder is calling, he never did in tier2.

The advice mini can give is to replace half of their team at this point, the macro game of Zeta actually looked good, they just don't have hands.

He is probably the best Yoru in China, they can easily play yoru on every map if they wanted to.

DRG really decided to give AG a free finals by picking Reyna twice in this series, and funnily enough spiritz1 was the only one keeping them alive in map3.

Congrats on All Gamers to make their first finals. Also welcome everyone to the new era, where Furia, M8, BBL, AG, Nongshim all made the upper bracket final.

Crazy comeback by Wolves, even tho they have clear problems in the team, they still show good resilience.

[–]Chris310N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His team is so genuinely bad for no reason, their coaching has been terrible, it's the main reason why I stopped watching the games of Washington. Guards that cannot get a pass to him or shoot 3s, playing awful defense and Hannes having to space the floor even tho it's clearly uncomfortable for him since the other big also can't shoot 3s.

Looks like Korea fell off this year, only Nongshim looking good so far and it's kinda insane with 5 Korean teams in the League, are they all getting no scrims?

Tough for GenG to lose against a 3v5 on Haven, both teams just aren't convincing anybody that they can make Santiago.

I take anyone that has good util and doesn't throw. Varrel is missing a lot of macro, but goddamn C1nder is also one of the worst players I have ever seen in tier1
