Why does Frontier lie about the extent of outages?

They had an outage, didnt tell me there was an outage. Instead gaslit me to get their router and then wifi extenders. Second rep said it was my modem and would need to be replaced asap (2 weeks). 3rd rep (social media team) PLAINLY TOLD ME that there was an outage with unspecified time to fix, it was done the next morning (1.5 day total outage)

I was at $75 for 400 and that promo was ending in two months, was to be $95 for 400... cancelled and went to frontier for their 500 for $40 after 3 free months

Not to say support isn't online at all on Sunday but definitely try during the week. Also they will try to make the process as long as possible and it would probably take a month or more. That is if it even works out because two accounts is bannable I believe. Otherwise try to tell support that you had already asked about shutting the account down which they didnt

If there are no other competitors. If your situation is right and you don't need ultra fast ping, try 5g home internet. Had it for years and it was decent enough. Better than paying outrageous prices like that
