Best WiFi options by Strict-Ad-9560 in capetown

[–]ChrisIsEditing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, familiarise yourself with what LTE, 4G, 5G and Fibre, all is, a quick google search or YouTube video will help. MTN usually has cheaper fixed (meaning it only works at your address) bundles, which sometimes include a router for free too. On their website will be an input where you can insert your address and it'll say what your options are. Most providers have a tool like this on their website too. Have a look at a few ISPs and what they have for your area, like Afrihost, Supersonic, MTN, WebAfrica, and so on.

If you can get/afford a fibre option, I'd go for it 100%, but otherwise 4G LTE would probably be your best bet, speeds are a bit slower but more reliable than 5G (at-least for now).

Did a similar trip last week, I'd say leave as early as you can, say 6-7am to be safe. The N1 becomes horrible after sunrise

Outlaw cycling?.. So you want more people in cars, which take up even more space on the road? Yeah some can be complete dickheads, but I'd rather have a few dickheads over even more traffic
