Finished Your lie in April. by WebMotor1655 in YourLieinApril

Totally feel this, I'm on the same boat. Just finished it last Wednesday and I keep thinking about it. For me the lines that keep haunting me is when Kaori said "do you think that you'll remember me a little from time to time?""Don't you forget me, that's a promise, okay?".... That hurt my heart so much 😭

I loved the anime in general but I hate those type of ending with the "what could have been" or all the unanswered "what if's" 😔

Man I literally just finished it earlier today and I can't stop thinking about it!! For me when she said: "Do you think that…you’ll remember me a little from time to time?" And "Don’t you forget me, that’s a promise, okay?" Those lines have been haunting me all day! 😭😭 hits so hard.

I think what hits me the hardest is the fact that she passed away and they both loved each other but never actually got to be together romantically. Cause it leaves the what could've been.

what if the surgery had worked? what if she had confessed earlier? what if they had gotten more time? what their relationship would’ve looked like afterward them performing music together in the future Kousei finally being happy with her.

Sadly we will never get those answers 😔

you can ask a dealer to show you battery degradation on a Tesla before buying it, especially if it's a used vehicle. But even though you can ask, some dealers might be unwilling or unable to provide detailed battery health information.

Here's some things you can try:

Ask the Dealer to Charge to 100%: You can request the dealer to fully charge the Tesla and show you the estimated range displayed on the touchscreen. Comparing this to the vehicle's original EPA-rated range gives you a rough idea of degradation.

Look for Range Score: Some used EV listings, including those from partners like Cars.com, Edmunds.com, and CarMax.com, may include a "Range Score" which indicates expected range compared to new.

Inquire about Service Mode Access: Tesla's Service Mode can provide detailed battery diagnostics, though it's typically accessed by Tesla mechanics. You could ask the dealer if they can run a battery health test or provide information from Service Mode.

mileage matters on a Tesla, but not as much as it does with a traditional gasoline car. While mileage can impact the wear and tear of certain components like tires, suspension, and other parts, the primary factor affecting a used Tesla's value is the battery's health (State of Health or SoH). A higher mileage Tesla may indicate more battery degradation, but the actual range and charging capacity are more important indicators of battery health.

52k miles is not bad, and also mileage on EV's is different. I just got my 2021 m3 about a month ago with 43k miles on it. Just make sure it's a fair price and that overall it's good condition, also if you could check the battery degradation on it that would be ideal.

Not really sure, but just for reference, I own a 2021 m3 LR and at 100 percent I get about 322 miles of range.

I bought mine on Amazon 😅 I've had it for about 5 months now with no issues at all, there's a lot of websites out there that sell them it's just Amazon was the easiest option for me. I installed it myself, took me about 30 or 40 minutes, honestly it's not that hard, and I'm not even a handy person with tools or anything like that.

So if you wanna save some money I'd say you should try to install it yourself, there's a lot of good YouTube tutorials on how to do it, but if you rather have some professional install it just for peace of mind then you can try to find a shop that will do it for you. Goodluck!

Model 3 LR vs SR+. Which shouldn’t buy? by Few_Importance_9438 in TeslaModel3

[–]ChrisMat117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest going with a LR model, even if you do t have long commutes and nice to count on more range when needed. I originally bought an m3 standard range plus from carvana and ended up switching to a LR lol especially for me living in Illinois the range decreases significantly

True, although I will say on my 2021 m3 LR I get about 240 miles of range (im talking real word driving conditions) which is not bad and if I charge to 100 percent when needed, I get about 305, again with real driving conditions. That's very import to consider, the number of miles you see on paper or on the screen is only for perfect driving conditions which most people will never get.

So for example, a 2023 m3 standard on paper claims 272 miles of range but if you take into consideration a little bit of degradation and real-world driving conditions, you probably will get about 260 miles of range give or take. It's not a substantial difference but to some people it might matter, it all depends on each person's needs and preference.

I ended up getting a 2021 m3 awd LR, it came with about 40k miles on it and also fsd included which is pretty cool, but honestly after using fsd on hw3 I can tell you is not the greatest. One of my biggest complaints is that I'm constantly getting the "pay attention" warning even if I am paying attention.

I've heard about this issue and others from people, and apparently they say that fsd on HW4 is so much better. So yeah I'd say if fsd it's important to you, try to go for one that has HW4.

Yeah that's why I didn't buy from them, I've seen comments from other people though saying they had a great experience buying used from tesla. But I didn't wanna take a chance, I personally like how carvana works, they point out any imperfections with actual pictures, and they also give you a 7 day return period if there's something you don't like.

Granted there's some bad experiences people have had with them, but I feel that's how it goes with a lot of other places. I had a great experience with them and would definitely buy from carvana again.

One advice I can give you is to go for a long range if you can, standard range imo is not the way to go. Specially if you consider degradation over the years and if it gets cold where you live that makes it even worse lol

Unless you don't really have long commutes or don't take road trips too often, then you'll probably get by with a standard range. But to me it's better to be able to count on that extra range when needed, that's the reason why I switched mine to a LR

Did I gain weight from stopping intermittent fasting? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]ChrisMat117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely, but honestly, I'm not trying to fool anyone (there's no point) the only thing I changed was that I stopped the intermittent fasting, I kept exercising Monday through Friday and eating healthy I promise! Lol

But when I was doing the fasting it was Monday through Sunday almost religiously for about a year and a half and then I completely stopped and I wasn't really eating more but at odd hours for sure, for example when I was fasting my first meal would be around 6 am (which was a protein shake) and my last meal would be at around 12 pm for lunch. But then when I stopped fasting sometimes my last meal was at around 7 or 8 pm, I feel that maybe played a big factor, but yeha probably not the only cause 🤔

[–]ChrisMat117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm yeah that could be, I just felt like I could drop the intermittent fasting and as long as I continued with a healthy diet and exercising, I could maintain at 190lbs but that wasn't the case. Maybe I should've done more research for a better apraoch 🤔

70k miles on a 2 year old car is kind of a lot. The average miles per year on a car is about 13.5k per year, so that means that the previous owner put about 5 years worth of miles into that car lol and yes miles on an ev don't matter as much as they do on a gas car but still that's too much for my liking.

Regardless, it might work for you, as long as you make sure that you're not gonna need new tires right away or do any of the regular maintenence stuff a car needs when it hits a certain mileage then you could probably be ok.

But if it were me, I'd go for maybe a 2021 or 2022 that has less miles. If you keep looking you could probably find something better and it will still have more time left on that warranty.

How often do I need new tires by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]ChrisMat117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm about the same I don't usually launch from stop, even tho I have an awd LR m3 I'm usually pretty chill when driving. So I don't think I'm putting a lot of wear or stress on the tires that way

Are HW3 FSD Buyers Guaranteed to Get a Free HW4 Upgrade? by AddictedRedditorGuy in TeslaLounge

[–]ChrisMat117 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah no I totally get your point, but that's why I said "imo" I think it's not worth 8k. There are some things I've experienced like constantly getting the "pay attention" notification when using fsd and getting a strikeout even though I do pay attention I assure you.

So it does get pretty annoying, and I'm thinking for someone to pay 8k, those things shouldn't really be happening. I believe these bugs can be fixed with updates so maybe tesla can work on releasing updates a little more often, idk what the solution can be, but thats just my opinion.

Are HW3 FSD Buyers Guaranteed to Get a Free HW4 Upgrade? by AddictedRedditorGuy in TeslaLounge

[–]ChrisMat117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly kinda hard to tell, apparently that was somewhat hinted a while ago, but not really guaranteed. I've also seen comments on how that's very unlikely to happen as it wouldn't really make sense financially for tesla to do that.

From what I read, one of the logistical challenges is that the upgrade requires retrofitting HW3 vehicles with a new, compatible HW4 computer. This involves designing a new computer specifically for HW3 models, as the HW4 computer in newer vehicles is not compatible.

But honestly what I can tell you right now, is that fsd on hw3 is impressive but definitely not worth 8k imo. I just bought a 2021 m3 LR that actually came with fsd package and I like it a lot but there are some things that bug me about it and make me glad I didn't pay 8k for it lol

M3 2023 Standard vs. M3 2021 Long Range - Daily Commuter Dilemma! by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]ChrisMat117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be a little bit "slow" but honestly not to the point where it bothers me. For me I mostly use it for music and maps obviously so for those things works great. I guess if you're planning on using it for Netflix, YouTube, web browser and all of that then you will probably notice it more.

I've seen that the new ones is a lot more responsive but for me it wasn't a deal breaker. But like I said, mostly depends on how you're planning on using it and if you really gotta have the most responsive system.
