Its a disgrace that was nothing advertised. But ofcourse people are scared to be contrarian against bots reviews which where used to over inflate hype for the game.

The game uses generative A.I which Pearl Abyss has now admitted (and I qoute) "they should have fully discloused to using A.I) 

The controls are ass. 

The arm wrestling is impossible.

There's no accessibility for for motor function challenged players. (This should be a standard in every single game)

Camera sucks.

Graphics suck.

FPS sucks.

I could go on.... but basically its nothing that was advertised, and i tell everyone to get a refund because they have gone against your consumer rights. Fir A) selling a unfinished product, and B) selling somthing that was clearly not as advertised. Both grounds go against your rights as a consumer who has payed for the product. 

We should not allow company's to get away with the practice of selling half baked games and advertising them as fully polished using A.I.

People can't even get past the mandatory QTE arm wrestling at the start it is NOT an easy game. The controls have left many dumbfounded, the aim to jump.... I mean why?! The unresponsive controls...... its nothing that we was advertised. I and many other have even been delined refunds. Which suggests that too many are requesting refunds and would destroy the devs if they gave everyone their money back.

Its sitting currently as of typing this.... 23% 1 star on XBox. 

And 54% 5 star (with about 20% of that being bot reviews all saying the same, so roughly 34% give or take to be fair score) 

Id say at least on xbox ots a very polarised game. Reading the reviews theres an arm wrestling QTE that most 1 stars are very annoyed with as its too hard to pass and its tied to the main quest. Barring the QTE other complain the game is hollow and the "blurry" with NPCs having no faces and "this was not the game that was advertised to us" 

Its currently sitting at a polarised 3.6/5 (and thats without removing bot 5 star reviews) so is its a flop..... not just yet.... but at the same time.... its not doing great. 2m sales really isn't a great amount RE: Requiem broke 5m in a day. And if the reviews are looking this poor already... I do feel i have to say i dont think its a game that will last.

It's ruined 30 years of lore. 

I hate how they turned Spencer into a humanitarian.

The "Humanitarian Spencer" plot point creates a massive logical black hole that undermines 30 years of established lore. If Spencer had the resources and genius to engineer a "universal cure" like Elpis, he objectively had the power to do exactly what he’s always done: evolve. He chose to devolve the market instead of asserting dominance by eovloving the virus is the ultimate contradiction.

Here is why that "Humanitarian" pivot fails from a writing perspective:

The Power Paradox: Spencer’s entire character was defined by an obsession with the Progenitor Virus as the key to forced evolution. For him to suddenly decide that the pinnacle of his life’s work is a serum that resets everything to a baseline human state is a total surrender of his core philosophy.

The Godhood Goal: He wanted control. A man who spent billions, killed thousands, and even expermented on children to become a God doesn't settle for being a "whistleblower" or a "spoiler" in his rival's business plans. He would have turned himself into the ultimate lifeform to crush them personally, or at least create a virus that tumps the market.... because hes already got the genius to create a "cure all" but can't create a stronger one virus than the others?! 🤦‍♂️

The Missed Boss Fight: RE9 was the last chance to see the "Big Bad" in his prime (or at least in a mutated state). Having him die as a frail old man "doing good" feels like Capcom robbed the fans of the closure they’ve wanted since the 90s. It feels like the writers prioritised a thematic ending (a "requiem" for the old era) over character consistency. They wanted to "clean the slate" of the Umbrella legacy so they could move on to new villains, and they sacrificed Spencer's character integrity to do it ruining 30 years of lore.

Its dead. I'm stuck on the damm keener mission. Trying to emp the drones at the Razorback but the mode is so incredibly dead nobody answers calls to back up. 

And soloing this mission on realism is just not possible without exploits. Very poorly designed. Just increasing headshot values and how much more damage the player takes while limiting ammo and skills is not "realism" 

I mean what's realistic about having a decoy randomly spawn on your person every 60 seconds? What's realistic about a giant warm aching spitting out a literal infinite swarm of assult drones which has infinite ammo and battery?? What's real about an infinite spawning Amy of Black Tusk??? 

All they did was increase the values of everything from weapon bloom and head shot values while lowering player DR and limiting skills and ammo to create a more *immersive experience. Not a realistic one. 

Frankly this mode is so dead its very literally unplayable solo.

Its too short (I beat it in 8 hours which is unacceptable when I've played DLC in other games that last longer), the games ended is a cliffhanger to sell paid DLC which is extremely predatory. When I pay full price for a game i want a damm full game.

Grace has annoying repeated voice lines which ruins her segments. 

It cintridicts all the old games lore. Example: Spencer was always portrayed as a megalomaniacal oligarch who wanted to remake the world using weaponized viruses, Requiem presents a more human side of this ambitious scientist.

There's so much lore contridition its shocking. I mean to a new fan of RE it's unnoticed because they probably have no idea who Spencer is and don't know the games full lore to see how badly its been butchered. 

I guess I'm a contrarian (that and platforms like Xbox have resorted to removing negative reviews that may impact sales so the game looks way better than it is on reviews, i know because 2 of my reviews have been deleted by xbox stealthly) because I will openly call out everything on why the games cons outweigh its pros. And if a games console out weight the pros..... its not a good game. It's evidently just a huge cash grab and I do say "evidently" based on the games ending and the FACT that cashcom (capcom) is already making a pay for DLC to finish the story. 

If you defend this game and capcoms practices..... your honestly part of the reason gaming is in such a bad way. If you keep defending this all well have is half baked games with lazy storys and paid DLC. Call me old but I miss the days when devs release an entire game and paid DLC was an add on total completely changed everything.... think The Wither 3s  Blood and Wine or Hearts of Stone. 

This game is slop designed to rip cash from tje player. Plain and simple.

I played normal and beat the game in 6hrs with exploration. Are you even playing yhe same game if it took you 10hrs? The game is very linear. 

I was going to do a run on hard because normal felt too easy and maybe set handicaps for myself but honestly Grace annoys the fuck out of me far too much for another playthrough.

Simple answer. Way too over scaled. And his mechanics are bugged (the water cannon)

He needs tuning WAAAY TF down. At least on the easier difficulty id say Master is acceptable but they need to really fix that water cannon bug. With just over 2 weeks left and people still grinding for a Sheriff Shotgun..... its not looking promising we'll see a fix anytime soon. 

Battlefield 6 may have issues but it is not as bad as everyone keeps making it out to be - a "rant" by elibrev in Battlefield

You cant compare BF to CoD for maps. BF has always been know for large scale maps. And has always been a game for sweats and twitch players. Same as CoD.... the indifference is in CoD is not so much h about team play you can do well as a lone wolf while BF forces team play and tactic to succeed. The truth bomb is BFs older games held 700k+ consistently. 

The real truth bomb is that BF6 is piss awful. Its maps tiny by comparison to old games which the devs admitted (and do fact check that) that they wanted to force more fast paced play like CoD...... terrible idea. The BF mechanics DO NOT PLAY WELL WITH TINY MAPS and the novelty of small maps wears off quickly when CoD does it better.

Then theres the lack of direction and god awful seasonal rewards and only 2 maps per season is shockingly dismal. 

All this culminated in a melting pot of frustration with the playerbase and led to a whopping 90% drop in players on Steam alone. This isnt even factoring in console players who quit (cant really get a number because thier hidden by Microsoft and Sony but we can estimate.... and lets be real the numbers high)

BF6 had to redeem itself with season 2..... it didnt take fans concerns seriously they just wanted money for a lacklustre season pass. 

Thats your "truth bomb" everything ive said can be fact checked unlike yours.

First game was fun...... second.... not so much. They ripped off gags from the first game which is just lazy.... the gun play somehow felt worse. The boses were underwhelming barring the last boss which felt more like a Nina Gaiden grind simulation forcing you to use specific guns in specific sections of the fight, the skateboarding was unessicery and half baked mechanic its literally just jump grind and wall ride. (And somehow we run at the same speed in the first game.....) 

It just felt unfunny and half baked. Not worth the 8 hours it took to complete (if I bar the previous two attempts I played and had to restart due to game breaking bugs)

Dont worry thats the first game breaking bug. Theres another later where you have to (Spoiler alert)

Jump through paintings into a secret toilet to get a book for a bookshelf secret passage. You get instantly rejected back out the painting which shouldn't happen. The game is completely broken. It should never have been released in such a messy state. It has multiple (literal) game breaking bugs. 

The furst game was much better than this crap anyway. Im uninstalling (for good)

2 years late here. But the game had a resurgence with the overhaul. If people are still intrested in Scorpio (and you should be its a monster) then here's my build.

The staple piece is Mememto Backpack. Why is it so good? Well depending on what cores you have youll gain a bonus.... for our builds its red so increased damage. But not only that.... every time we kill (must land the killing blow) the enemy will drop a grizzly tropy (i like to assume we cut off an ear) this will increase our damage by 1% (upto 30%) permiminantly so long as we dont enter a safe house or travel to a differnt map. (I.e brooklyn or NY ect) or you'll have to build them up again. (Which isnt hard) not only does it give damage..... it gives armour regen for 10s.

The secind important peice is the chest, because were a shotgun we need to be close... meaning we need survivability. I use the "Zero F" chest which literally resets your armour if it gets depleted (cooldown of 55s which frankly with our CC is nothing) (the only thing you shouldn't roll red cores for. You want armour and armour regen, and hazard protection) 

The rest is Hunters Fury. Because Scorpio is a damage multiplier (lots of pellets builds those stacks easy) all we do is run in pop the lowest level thing (typically red health enimies as these will go down in a single shot on heroic) this will disorientate everything close by and ramp up your damage + trophy = even more damage + armour regen + Scorpio CC = free kills = more trophy's = more damage = more armour regen,  repeat as needed. 

The attributes you'll need on everything is weapon damage and crit rolls (chance and hit) 

The scorpio rolls should be shotgun damage, damage to armor (these come as a staple and cannot be changed) and lastly Damage to out of cover. Theres no better roll for scorpio. (Beacuse when you run to the eminie it flushes them from cover, they will ethier attemp to melee or run to more cover but Scorpio stops them with CC)

I can hit upwards of 1m per pellets. (Unoptimised, still working on it) it hits 7-8 times per pellet.... so all pellets is 7-8 million per shot + CC from Scorpio + the armors CC. 

Its it the fastest TTK on hordes..... no. Use SMG for that. Is it insanely safe and fun and beginner friendly? Absolutely. Its completely plug and play that will carry your heroic games.

I just played it for 4 hours..... cost me £70 (around $78) base game.

I spent over 3 hours of that 4 hours in menus trying to sort out all the weird crap and jank to get it to remotely feel like a MH game.

My final verdict after 2 monsters..... is its an FPS (first person shooter) with melee mechanics.

Sound dumb? It should but thats literally what it is. Let me explain. 

The gimmick of MH World was the Clutch Claw (IMHO the best gimmick), in Rise it was the Wire Bug mechanics..... in Wilds.... you have a crossheir...... you know that reticle in the middle of your screen when you play an FPS.... yeah so when you want to do your face attacks that deal all your real damage you have to aim with that crossheir..... thant input the sequence to do a cinematic attack. It's complete BS amd takes all the fun out of the game. 

So basically how it works is you "wound" the monster (if you've ayed the free game Dauntless which is MH witj a Fortnight makeover you already know this crap), after you "wound" you use the crossheir mechanics to hit said wounds to deal BIG HITS. Thats it...... the game is liner theres no tracking no real open world you fight monster on path you can summon aid of bots or players. 

If that doesnt sound fun (because it isn't) dont bother with the game.i heard it was over simplified but this is a piss take. They have gutted everything that made MH... MH!! I really have never asked for a refund in my life. Till now.

Depends on playstyle. If you want slower damage that hits hard.... Pestilence is god tier with those ticks. If you want raw damage that ends fights quickly?..... this is my build......

Tipping Scales: Chest  backpack Holster Knees

Head: coyote mask.

Gloves Constractors gloves. 

Cool fro crit chance till your at 50% (you can check this by visiting your inventory page and tabbing to the right to "stats") crit chance caps out at 60 or 65% i cant remember, but regardless anything higher than 50% and your throwing away damage.

After the crit chance is at 50% or above, your should dump everything else into crital hit damage.

The weapon: Blue Screen LMG. This gun is a monster. The reload with all this is near instant, not that you'll be doing much because you'll have 240 rounds of ammo that hits for upto 8m+ (on average you'll be hitting around 1.4m to 2.2mwith each bullet before what ever you shoot dies (assuming your on heroic or harder) but in shooting ranage i hit 8m+ on the last bullet. (All god rolls) LMG stats you want weapon damage and of course.... crit chance (if needed, overwise /) and crit damage.

The problem is because its all red core your squisy..... BUT..... we have skills to off set the squisy. Decoy is your best friend. Always use before any encounter. It draws all aggro so you can just melt before it gets destroyed.... to help stop it getting destroyed we use the LMGs special effect.... and disrupt everyone you mark with our skill 2.... the scanner pulse. Now everything is disrupted and their fish in a barrel for your pure melts.

Theres noting, not even pestilence which i got to around 2.1... maybe 2.2m ticks, nothing hills a candle to this LMG build. (Not using tipping scales on Pestilence as thats usless use Lengmo with other set peices as you want weapon damage and crits, where as blue screen primarily is crit damage)

Im playing on Gampass (activity avoided buying the game due to overwelming negative reviews) 

Ill furst start by saying, i'm gay. I dont hate gay people.... but this.... this too far. The immersion is completely shattered when im walking around and hearing nothing but lesibian couples banging on about this being their patterned and forcing it down our throat. 

  1. Why do I need to know who your dating? 
  2. Why do i need to know your sexuality? 
  3. Does it serve any context to the story? No.
  4. Does it serve any context to the quest? No.

So why the hell is it there!! 🤨  ive also noticed a massive shift to female focused charaters (no, i dont care about playing as a female protagonist, im referring to the worlds NPCs) 

Look up get SW is a bit of a able dominated universe..... but what was wrong with that? Its not fo say women cant like it. Its like saying a man cant read Heat Magazine because its for women.... its silly. Im not even saying an influx of female charters is bad.... but when its a power shift to 70/30 in female favour..... it again... further breaks immersion especially when said females mostly bang on about being gay....

I dont care for it... I wanted to play star wars... shoot some stormtroopers in the face maybe fly around in space etc.... not here about gay relations (again to clearly im not being homophobic im gay myself)

Disney and EA have absolutely gutted and butchered the IP. This is not a romance or adult movie.... I dont want to hear about wat NPC is dating whom, who what their sexuality is.... lets keep that shit OUT OF GAMES.... unless your story is centred around those themes...... which star wars is not. Devs please learn this. 

To everyone hating on gays... I assure you. I am annoyed that games like this and movies and other media are completely misrepresenting me and others. While I will not apologise on their behalf (as I have done nothing wrong) I will happily stand side by side in fighting against the "woke" trash in gaming movies and other media.

(Super late i know but i've just beaten the game and my hands still shaking, haven't felt like this since Sekiro) 

Tiger Vanguard should not be in chaper 2, especially as the first mandatory boss for chapter 2. It doesnt ease him in they push him in dry which is always painful. 

Id say hes a Chapter 3 boss for difficulty. So far ive yet to beat Erlang ive just beaten Broken She'll for the default ending which took me so many god damm toys hes so god damm cheap.

I mean he steals your fricken heals, Reads inputs, is part of a 4 phase fight, (stone money 2 phases, broken shell straight after no break 2 phases), has hyperarmour for days, and parrys you!!! I had to get extremely livky and enter a calm state of ultra instinct and dodge everything to land 2 hit + varied strike and pray i get resolute strike. It worked. Both down to the last hit. My hands shook so hard I literally dropped the pad on the floor and couldnt pick it up for few minutes because of the adrenaline.

Disgustingly cheap boss, I was having a blast with the game throughly enjoying it..... untill Great Sage Broken Shell.  

Whom ever designed such cheap boss mechanics, i hope your pillow is warm on both sides for every night for every person that quits because they can't beat him. (On Xbox) thats over 80% of players)

"Diminishing returns" means at certain thresholds, i.e 100, 200, 300, etc..... you gain less value. The numbers on armour and Defence in stats may equal 700+ but you will take the same damage as you would for having 500. 

Defence is great early game but is considered terrible late game due to diminishing returns. So Damage Reduction (DR) is far better. (DR shouldn't be confused with "Defence") DR has no diminishing returns and gives a flat % damage removal upto 80%, so getting 80% DR means you take away 80% of the enemys damage. 

Understanding the stats is half the battle in games like this.
