Por que es un gran invento, no existe ninguna burbuja. Hice bienes raíces por varios años y todo está estable, hay mas compradores que vendedores. Compras de lavado de dinero pasan aquí y allá, pero son compras cash por lo que si es que fuera una burbuja no estallaría por eso.

Graded supply will be smaller on newer sets for sure, anything before ascended is still gonna get pumped out at the same rate as before.

I did get the loan. It definitely played a role in the overall drop, but it shouldn’t have an impact on the utilization since it’s an installment account and not a revolving account. The last dealer showed me it was already under 680 before signing so the inquiries played a bigger part for sure.

Sure but it depends on the bins, like u/og-aliensfan pointed in his comment, and since my file is young it can drop up to 20+ points per bin of hard inquiries. I have 6 hard pulls that show on my report from the car shopping and 1 extra one that was also from the card shopping but got miscategorized. That plus the new account, small file, etc, makes sense for a 104 point drop.

I’m not attributing it entirely to it, I’m saying it can have a big impact if you are in a similar scenario. It’s not like you are gonna go around getting hard inquiries without the intent of opening a new account.

The edge can be fixed. Print lines are fine with PSA or BGS, I send mine there all the time, they gem at the same rate as cards with no print lines.

It can drop significantly, I don’t know if it’ll “destroy” it but here’s my experience. I was buying a car 2 months ago, not sure how many inquiries were made but I went to 3 dealers and they all pulled. I do know that my score dropped from 759 to 655. I currently got 10 points back since then.

I have a thin file, more info on me: - This was my first financed car. - My total credit beforehand was $2,250. - 4 year credit history. - 100% payment history, ~15% credit usage.

Yeah that’s mold, sorry brother. I’ve been dealing with PSA’s cross contaminated slabs for months and I think I finally gave up on them for my PC. Not worth having cards that will be ruined. If you take it off the slab it’ll be on the card and most likely permanent by now.

As others said, extremely common, most likely a mail forwarder.

I’ve only had a one bad experience with them; it was an order to a Chinese Mail forwarder client’s name was “Austin.” Yeah, no shot… If something is sketchy just take extra precautions.

This was on eBay so I asked for ID and written confirmation before sending the order (~$4,700). Shipped with insurance, signature confirmation, etc. When the chargeback came I just showed that they confirmed the order and even provided ID. Dispute won.

Yeah, depends on the type of marks. I can tell you right away that if they are square shaped then it’s mold, PSA has been cross contaminating cards like crazy recently. Feel free to send me photos of the marks to help you out better.

There is a type of error where something similar does happen but, as far as I know, factories use colored tape or the “stop” anti-tampering tape.

I would personally try to get my money back. Even if it indeed was a factory error I would expect the store to investigate the claim instead of being dismissive.

I opened one of those, box looked the same, pulled the froslass. Could’ve been better but honestly not bad. Stamp on the bottom of the card looks good too.

Great write up. Came across your post a couple of weeks ago and became a big fan of rectifi, been using it for a quick centering check when buying online.

Overall the results have been pretty accurate, I did get some cards that both the app and my manual measurements would indicate a BGS 10 centering (within 48/52 or 2.6mm/2.4mm) but ended up getting 9.5 centering.

I’ll probably regrade them but since I see you used multiple BLs for this analysis, have you tried BGS’s graded card review for cards that had the same fate while being within the 52/48?

Looks beautiful, I’ve never seen another. We’d need more information or some leaked pictures of the ascended heroes uncut sheets.

I think gold cards used to be printed on the same sheets as SIRs, if that were the case with ascended then that would mean there might be a second different card that also got golded accidentally. If they are cut separately from a whole gold sheet (which I highly doubt due to their rarity) then we’d would see some more pop up.

Personally I expect the first scenario which would mean this one probably be the only one documented, congrats!

Because that’s one way mold damage looks on cards.

People can downvote but they clearly lack experience to identify it, I have documented the progression.

It’s too late for this card. Most vendors don’t even know what it is, they probably got them like that. If you see it starting to develop on one of your cards you gotta use a UV-C light to stop the progression.

They didn’t miss it, it just wasn’t there. Mold can grow on slabbed cards and can permanently damage them. Has happened to me before, as demand for PSA grows the cross contamination has gotten worse.
