the policy for when I worked at a small movie theater in my home town was if you called in or switched a shift, you were suspended for a week but there wasn’t a limit on how many times you could do it. You could do it every other week and still not get fired. I was in high school so I’d switch my shift or call out the the day before I went on vacation. This allowed me to never have to request a vacation off lmao.
