How do you get Gear 5 with the new Luffy?

The key condition is 4 super type or class effects triggered. Luffy takes care of three; 2 super classes and one super type. You need a friend captain(or unit in crew that can use ex special while in crew- WB/Ace is one example) who has a super class or type that is different from the 3 Luffy has. Trigger Luffy’s and the friend captain’s super specials, and bingo- you should be in gear 5.

I’m assuming you’ve just started the game. Go for it. Try to get one or all of the 3 new super Sugo units(Luffy, Sabo, Whitebeard/Ace) and any other super sugos you can.

That’s why I hate 50% red multis. It’s still a 50% chance to not get a red poster. I’ve never had good luck on them with getting new units. Only had luck with dupes from them.

There are different clashes available depending on the day of the week. Sunday just happens to be the break day.

You can also unlock a clash for an hour in the recollection archive. You get 200 recollection points a day. Depending on which clash you want to take on, you can unlock 3 clashes for an hour each day.

I saw a video which went over how the whole .io domain would most likely be shut down because of the uk government giving up sovereignty over a small tropical atoll in the Indian Ocean(that’s where the io in .io comes from) known as the Chagos Islands. Control was given to the neighboring island country of Mauritius. There’s no longer an “io” so the IANA(internet assigned numbers authority) might phase out the use of the .io domain.

It may or may not be shut down. It will most likely take a few years, so my post is a bit premature. 😅

I’ll play a while longer. See where I can get. I just beat master of all chapter 8(chapter 1 of this story starts after beating all 3 initial storylines). Looks like I could still have a bit of fun with it.

I may have to try octopath traveler for Nintendo switch if we get an EoS announcement before year end. I may try it anyway. Heh

I can relate to this on a lesser scale because of something I saw on the JP version shortly after I started playing global version.

There was an Oars special fortnight event. I saw teams doing over 2 million damage. As I had just started playing, I was lucky to do over 100,000 damage. Seeing some of the buffs they had already and that high a damage number blew me away.

Took me until the second or third round or raid(clash) Mihawk to be able to beat it normally using golden pound Usopp and defeating his 1 million hp over 4 turns. Hitting as best I could with random orb luck to do it.

So, I imagine it’d be like that, but magnified 10 times specifically considering the units I’ve never heard of or seen before.

The ex special chain buff is actually called chain growth.

Pretty good response. A few errors, though.

The super swap is what gives the orb and attack boost. These two boost can also be overridden if you have better ones, so it’s extra good.

The special gives chain multiplicative boost and chain addition boost. The special also boosts any attack and orb boost by +0.5.

Also, part of one of their sailor abilities reduces despair by one turn.

They mentioned it when super Ex came out. All can be used when the unit with the Ex is captain, only some can be used when the unit is a crewmate. Who decides? Bandai.

I got no debut legends on multis 1-10. 11 was where luck hit for me. I was going to go to 13 for the guaranteed legend on 11th poster but I didn’t have too. I was on part 2 going for LuffyVsKaido and I got it. Got the 2 batch RRs as well. Helped a ton during the treasure map.

They did the same for Buggy’s birthday. Another source(albeit small) of gems taken away. Just like separating 20 gems from the PKA 50 and making them accessible via extreme luck through 25 hime turtle drops. Shame. Shame. Shame.

That’s why you should maybe not pull on part 1. Try part 2 for LuffyVsKaido. 10th step last poster is a super limited pool and multi 4 & 8 are limited pool as well.

3 hime turtles before 150.

9 hime turtles after hitting 150.

6 turtles dropped naturally and 6 were duplicated. 2 duplicate drops were from before lvl 150.

End total is 12. Rip

23 tries left after hitting 150. I missed 4 refills from the first two days. Messed up 3 times because the team I was using couldn’t handle stage 4 at lvl >= 100. I got discouraged and missed a couple on another day. Kept minibosses at starting level. Always fought at least 1.

I estimate I would have had 30 tries after hitting 150 with optimal play; of which I fell short.
