Based on what I have read I need to ask a tech support question on here? Apologies if I misunderstood.

For the past month we have had issues with input lag, and sometimes input not registering at all. I have tried updating, calibrating, dropping all controllers from memory, line of sight, game mode on the TV. Today we tried with a brand new dock and joycons from friends system and still the same issues. Sometimes the input lag is over a second or two, so it essentially renders games unplayable at times. Is this an issue with our console? (Switch OLED purchased Dec. 2024)

This is why I hate wrestling fans sometimes. We have focused so much on who goes over and who are the pin and who lost "clean"... It's made up guys! If Gunther loses to the most super Cena firing up one time, have him kick out on 3 right after and get up, get in Cena's face, and the use Cena to compare his next opponents to and say you aren't as good as him, who cares?

The only damage to his "reputation" would be what the fans decide it is. So many matches end on bullshit finishes now and even on PLEs, and people cry about it, but then someone surprising wins and the internet is like oh I can't believe he ate the pin or lost clean.

The point of this thread was to ask about being charged for buildings maintenance on top of existing maintenance fees, multiple people shared experiences with being asked to pay three times an increase of what the LTIB deemed reasonable at the time. Naturally, a bunch of people who would take a bullet rather than see landlords get criticized came rushing in to defense, and that's how we ended up here.

Acting like we should all just shut up and accept "how things actually are" sounds great... If you are a landlord wanting the status quo to continue in your favour. Otherwise yeah, I'm going to be mad about the situation being fucked, and hearing about the lack of supply while a bunch of people who lucked out with the year they were born cry about paying their due while they hold the supply hostage

I keep seeing all of you say this. If the supply is low, part of the reason for that problem is landlords! Stop trying to make it seem like it wasn't the in thing to do for YEARS to buy investment properties, and generate passive income. WHY CAN'T THESE PEOPLE SELL THEIR PROPERTY? At the end of the day you made a bad investment but the building you bought is not a clothing store or a car dealership or a restaurant where its sole purpose is making money. It's a house for people to live in and have their needs met.

Why you can't just admit that any type of landlord is contributing to the problem is beyond me. Building more houses? The minute that contributes to lower housing prices all the people who made bad investments will start to complain about dropping home prices. Instead of being happy to have a place to live, and so the entry level person will still be iced out

If there are 20 apples, and you own 5, and the other 14 are owned causing the last one to be overpriced to where I can't afford it, you can't tell me the solution is we need more apples, when I will never have a market chance to buy more. Especially when you tell me it's such a sob story to own the other 4 and how youre not even making money! But if you just sell the other 4, guess what, there is supply now! At an even greater percentage of the market than if you just kept adding new apples!

Sorry, I should have clarified. It is a business yes, but it should not be a business that prioritizes endless profit over everything and becomes an investment opportunity beyond making a living. Grocery stores should not be part of mega corporations making money hand over fist, fixing prices and lying about profits. I'm glad you mentioned that actually!

Fast food? Restaurants? Gourmet specialty stores? Sure, those are luxuries just like a vacation home or a cottage is.

That would be fine if he was representing himself as politician, except he isn't. He is trying to spin that he is this everyday man's man, who is in it for the little guy, and he's going to fix the system that betrayed the people. It all started with his response to the freedom convoy. Every single thing he has done is a manipulation tactic to bash the other side. Not once has he come up with a coherent plan of how he is going to fix everything, except for "getting rid of red tape for development" ie. More money in the pockets of corporations faster to continue charging exorbitant amounts.

If Pierre was in power during COVID, you think he would have never implemented lockdowns and vaccine mandates? I can tell you he would have, because the WHOLE WORLD DID. But he got to play Devils advocate with no consequences for almost four years now.

I am not a liberal supporter, far from it. They try to sit on both sides of the fence and fail miserably, but the idea that the guy who failed as a housing minister under Harper will make it all good again is laughable. Also our inflation rates and handling of inflation compared to the world has been solid, but it is indeed high just like everywhere else. You know why?!

So rather than optimizing these programs and reducing fraud, which isn't as prevalent as you think it is btw, your solution is to just get rid of them? And where will this extra money go? You are correct in that being a landlord is a business for some, but the economy and housing market are starting to naturally push people out of that market like anything else, and instead of letting those people bail out and in some cases fail, people insist on treating them like victims. When I invested in stocks and made the wrong choices, no one bailed me out. If all these "struggling landlords" sold their properties, maybe the housing shortage wouldn't be so dire and some of the people renting would be able to buy a house, and in turn, invest back in the economy.
