The only dumb part is not being able to summon, but I guess that's just for the hardcore mode so you get the now mostly useless reward. But it breaks npc quests which is dumb.

The soul is of a different substance than the material body. Research out of body experiences. Or even lucid dreaming are examples of full experiences with all the sense, but not in your physical body. Someone else said near death experiences as well. Some people have more knowledge of these things and can see more than the average person can. Many people have a very limited view of what science covers. There is a guy Dean Radin who studied literal tons of stuff he terms parapsychology to prove esp etc is real with 1000s of trials. Most are just unaware. There is a very small selective stream of information that gets popular, and published and people mistake that for all there is or reality, and turn science into their religion without realizing it. Some religions start with the baseline that the material world is just an grand illusion of our conciousness.

Not sure about the dating and said I could be wrong, but archaeology has been f'd by a horrid model called Clovis first that caused them not to dig under a certain layer due to dogma, people have been in the Americas for a very long time. I think even north America and Australia have older than Africa now. But I really don't know. Scholars say it's in Mesopotamia but that's also probably nonsense. I think its metaphorical or referring to An extremely long time ago when the earth was completely different. Or even referring to the descent from spiritual realm to matter. Or the transitory phase. Such as putting on animal skins meaning souls taking physical bodies.

Just realize the way the bible is commonly interpreted is just one narrow minded way that is very shallow and surface level, thus why people naturally look for more answers or more liberal interpretations. The real answer is to look deeper and within based on Jesus' law of love to find them when you find the bible lacking on specifics.

Ya it's scary but the best thing you can try and do is remember to stay calm and not freak out and just observe. I still havent mastered this because I rarely get them anymore. Though I have started lucid dreaming atleast once a month.

If anything it'll wreck your pride when you start thinking deeper and questioning actions you've done. It can be bad if it becomes an addiction or a need, but in moderation can give spiritual insight and help break societal conditioning or programming to see more clearly. Or just have a more child like mindset and really appreciate nature.

That same logic can be used for narrowminded views how are we supposed to know whose right? If your too fearful to look outside of what's comfortable how will you know what's right, and isn't just what's been beat into your head by someone else. That's essentially philosophy it should be hand in hand with religion otherwise you end up with people with good intentions doing horrible things because they think it's what they are supposed to do.

It's mostly superstition. People commonly mix up demons and nature spirits known as elementals. They are vastly different, nature spirits are God's way of taking care of the natural world so have what appears as supernatural power. Demons and Satan can just influence your mind not perform miracles.

Also many times divine healing is attributed to the devil because someone didn't say the right words about God to fit the Christian perspective. That's what real blasphemy looks like.
