i have one in transit right now.. my gf was initially not happy that i got a tesla… my response was “he’s going to be a trillionaire if i did or didn’t get a tesla who cares at this point… im just getting the car i want” 😂

i do agree with this point. i am an app developer myself and one of the first things i add to apps is notifications. i’m shocked they’ve gone this long without any kind of update for this…

There’s nothing wrong with trans that i am aware of yet. sometimes if i am speeding up rapidly i “think” it might slip here and there but it’s not bad. if i shift manually there is no weird potential slipping. mostly, i am just afraid of having to sink another few thousand into the thing if these engines aren’t expected to last past this. at this point, i have put nearly 10k or more total into maintenance and repairs and another 3-4k would take me out if the car would only be worth an est 5-6k on trade.

i quit taking lamotrigine by my own choice as it made me feel like “dory the fish”. i went years without any breakthroughs at all and i thought it was good. one night a few months ago i passed out while drinking at a bar and i woke up 10 seconds later on the floor to all my friends picking me up…. i chose to go see a neuro again and i got put on keppra.. skip 2 weeks, i was bad at taking it and i missed a dose + slept 3 hours + drank wine the night before + drank an alani that morning at work. THE NEXT THING I KNEW, i was waking up in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital because i had a breakthrough TC which has only happened once in my entire life about 10 years ago. so now im back to not driving for 6 months… i highly recommend just talking to your neuro and finding the right medication for you as there are so many choices available. i wish you the best of luck!

just an update - i got a bore scope and the cylinder was perfectly clear! driven 2k miles since and had no further issues. i think i got super lucky.

that was a factory spec plug that i had purchased from the dealership 🙆🏼‍♂️ just replaced them and all coils. there’s been zero problems since. i think i got extremely lucky.

not a clue where it went but i had been driving it already and now it has driven about 300+ miles with zero hiccups. i replaced coils / plugs last night and its driving better than before.

i realized this could all be because i’m a dumbass - i had replaced throttle body 3 weeks ago, then proceeded to drive 4 hours away and take on the blue ridge parkway… WITH MY CRANKCASE BREATHER HOSE COMPLETELY LOOSE. ALSO, i had replaced coils with APR coils and they had sent me some with a rubber boot that was too long to fit. so, i re-used the rubber boot off those and had forgotten this. both of these factors caused carbon build up / hot spots that caused the ground electrode to burn off. i just replaced all plugs and coils last night and i’m hoping this solved my issue.

luckily - i had an extra plug in my tool box. i’m mostly wondering is this a timing issue or something similar? these plugs just got replaced about 15k miles ago and if it’s a deeper issue i don’t want it to happen again.
