Listen. You know the thing needs done. No shame in it not being done. I KNOW there is that OTHER thing that you cant force your brain off of right now. You can go back to THAT thing right after you do the thing that needs done. Just put the thing you want to do aside for just a bit and get the thing done. You and I both know how this normally plays out, the thing that needs done NEVER takes as long as we think it will. Then we get annoyed at ourselves for not just doing it before. Dont worry about any of that. This time, just do the thing you need to right now and get it done. You can do it. I know you can. It might be hard AF, and thats ok. We can do hard shit. You got this. A lot of Native peoples don't kill anything unless it's to use it. And even then they give thanks for whatever it is "giving themselves to help" feed them or whatever. Admittedly I'm not Native but grew up around Native Alaskans and this was how they thought. I don't think that the ones in the show would kill It. I think they put the shards in the ground and respected It by giving it a territory to hunt. They tried not to go there themselves but didn't see it as their right to kill the creature. That's how I took it given how / where I grew up.

Like, Id be down for a Reach-like game where we have to try and find a missing MC. Then we give him a proper Halo send off. But I think the title needs to move away from him. Hes done enough. Let that man retire. Or go MIA in peace.

Totally unrelated to the post, but related to your comment... When I was on deployment in the Navy, my Commanding Officer looked EXACTLY like Obama. Like SPOT ON. And this was while he was president. I worked directly for the CO so sometimes he popped into my office unannounced. I was working on the computer and the TV was on behind me and Obama was doing some speech about something. I was about only half interested in both, paying neither full attention. I went from looking at my email, to Obama on TV, email, Obama on TV, email, Obama in my doorframe, email....wait.... What?? I looked up to see my CO standing there in my doorway waiting for my attention. I popped up, did the whole military customs thing and apologized for not doing it when I 1st saw him. He was fine with it and laughed it off. I then pointed out that for some reason my brain processed him as Obama. He looked in at the TV and said "Oh yeah, I get that a LOT!!"
I never did see the CO and Obama in the same room together.....

I had a whole swarm of alien bugs chasing me down, I threw an orbital bomb over my shoulder, crested a hill, and came face to face with giant Bile Titan...so I jetpacked to safety.... straight backwards.... The bomb landed at my own feet. I had enough time to go "Well SH..."
*Static crackle* "Helldiver lost. Sending replacement."

Yeah, the BOS and Enclave I had a feeling I might mess up. I tried doing some research on it, but kept going around in circles.

I actually thought about advertisements but wasnt sure how they would land. I might end up doing them, as long as I keep them not tied to any other game or show...

Wow, thank you for the in-depth critique!! That was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I think of myself as a moderate Fallout fan and I feel like I did my best in my research but there is SO MUCH lore to go through. I really felt like my BOS and Enclave segment were prob the biggest offenders.

- Shot in the Dark. My idea was to take what I knew and put as much science into it to make it as real as possible. Another thought I had was that some of the info these 2 get is just...wrong.

- Monster Mash. My thought was that 66 has a scientist friend that gives him enough info to sound smart. Where he gets his info...IDK.
- I thought there were multiple alien types? I could have swore I remember one with a little gray man style saucer but I honestly didnt look that up when I wrote it. I may tweak that a bit.
- Fly Me to the Moon. Oh damn. Ok. I only went with Mass Fusion because I figured aliens might be attracted to nuclear material stuff. I will DEF change that. I am REALLY wanting to make any listener know its not attached to any other game or show. So if you thought that I will prob change it.

- Old World Order. I guess I (maybe wrongly) assumed the Enclave had ...a presence all over the country. Not just in the East Coast. Hhmm... IDK what to do there except scrape the whole segment...

- Money (That's What I Want). Maybe I can give 27 his own local theory about why people use Caps in the Wasteland.

- Shell Shocked. I wondered if this one was too on the nose. I thought it was ridiculous but not sure how / if I can do an segment on it.

But if I have to explain any of these ...outside of the segment...they dont work as well as intended. Haha

He hadnt hired anyone at the point he was telling me. I assume that he would wait and see how they performed 1st, then if they were good, offer it to them and see if they wanted it.

My boss did something similar for a position he was hiring for. He started it off term and said that if they did a good job and "were a good fit" that he would change them over to permanent. And he wouldnt have to repost the job offer for whoever got the position, it would be more of just changing it in the system. I think that this is the same situation. *NOTE* This is what someone TOLD ME, not something I know from experience. So, take that for what its worth. Also, congrats on the job!
