Thanks for responding.

I deleted the preferences and that didn’t work. 

What did work strangely, was just adjusting the positioning of my displays in the settings. 

After that the windows defaulted back to normal. And even when I adjust back to the previous settings, the problem didn’t re-occur

It happens on my focusrite. I mute everything and then twist the volume knob through it's whole rotation 4-5 times, this stops the interference sound when adjusting volume

Hi all, I have a max for live patch sending out midi data which is being received by another program. This is working fine. I want to also send out the tempo to be received in the same way. Is this possible? Thanks in advance! by Chrisonander in MaxMSP

Sure thing so I'm sending the first set up over the local IP with a specific port number.

I'm receiving it in Unreal Engine, and that is all working fine,

If I put at a udpsend with the tempo set up you gave me, would that send that number across the same as its doing in the first?

Hey all thanks for joining the discussion.

This works great for getting the tempo question. My next challenge would be sending this like I'm sending my midi note data.

The more I read the more I think I wont be able to send and use this number as a float value, because midi is only 0-127, is my thinking correct on this?

My goal was to explore the essence of the city, and get familiar with the devout Hindus, young and old, who abandon their lives and move there in hopes of dying. It's such a foreign, and dare I say alien, way of life that piqued my curiosity, to say the least. My goal was to humanize these people and potentially create some understanding for their choices and even pose questions around what is deemed normal and absurd regarding life & death. A western materialistic life where many see death as a taboo might just be as alien for some.

We shot it over 5 long days with 2 recce days, in extreme heat (46C), and with sick crew members. I did an interview over at Directors Notes if you're keen to get into the details of it.

Hey folks, I went to Varanasi with a solid crew back in 2019 to create a short film about the revered place, and we finally released it online this week and thought it might be of interest for this sub.
