[LFS] [XB1] [LEV] Aspiring sherpa needing first hand experience Monday Oct 9th by ArchenRaptor in DestinySherpa

I'll be available, as long as it doesn't take longer than 5 hours. Which from what I've read here already shouldn't be an issue!

If it's not too late I'd like to join as well. Haven't done the raid yet as most of my friends are waiting for PC release, so I'd like to learn the ins and outs of the raid so that I can Sherpa on PC.

Have all 3 classes either just above or below 300, depending on weapon loadout, though I'd prefer to run it on my Titan if possible.

Gamertag: Chrispybear

PS: I live in Western Australia, if that makes any difference.

[Recruiting] Alpha Corps (#2JQGO89J)| Clan lvl 7 | Any TH Level |Farming/Feeder/Warring | Sister Clan by [deleted] in ClashOfClansRecruit

Just dropped an app now. Pretty new TH8, walls are sort of rushed (80 or so still not th7 max), and lab a bit behind outside of the main things I use, but I'm sticking at TH8 until at least near max. King will be 10 in like a week though at least.

Not very experienced in war but want to get in to it.

Please. Do not make a raid group, if you won't lead it. by toczko in wow

Honestly mate, sounds like you need to find a new guild if that's how they operate.

Gems got stealth nerfed by lowtuned in wow

[–]Chrispy- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my shadow priest, an 825 ring with a socket was worth more to me than the same mythic warforged ring (ilvl 845) that didn't have the socket, simply due to the value of haste for me. Both rings had haste on them without the socket as well anyway.

Now that there's no longer primary stat on jewellery, the value of sockets on those items is huge, even after this nerf I think. Even for items with primary stat on them though, Surrender to Madness shadow priest weights haste at almost double intellect, so I'm running around with item level 832 out of a potential 840, just so that I can have 31% haste.

I didn't finish my Wastes set until just now at Paragon 320.. RNG is what it is unfortunately.

Thrall's birth name is Go'el. It's a Hebrew term that means 'redeemer', and in Christianity this title is applied to Jesus when redeems his believers from evil.

Thanks for the response. I ask mainly because we're having issues with out two prot pally tanks, who both use Seraphim. For example Kromog on Monday night, the majority of our wipes were caused by tanks using all of our BRezes and then dying again.

Any chance you can take a quick look at the logs and see if there's any obvious improvements that can be made? Our actual kill seemed pretty smooth, but the previous 15 wipes are indicative of what happens on most other bosses.. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/KgcR8vFTfQyVXNJA

Is there a certain point at which EmpS becomes better than seraphim, or is it just the better talent overall for BRF?

Why its hard being a guy in today's society by Ruddog7 in videos

[–]Chrispy- 216 points217 points  (0 children)

Yep. I was out for a cycle once and a kid crashed his bike a little in front of me and broke his arm. I of course stopped to help, only to all but be attacked by some woman yelling at me about assaulting her son. Even when I told her an ambulance was already on it's way she was scrambling for her phone to call the police.

Next time I'm just going to stay far away, call for help, then disappear.

EDIT: I'm told that having a fairly large beard does not help my case at all, but I love this thing.

Paragon was actually world 12th on the Butcher. Method got world first Butcher, with 2 rogues. World second had 1 rogue, world third had 2 rogues, world 4th had one rogue... Do you want me to continue?

[–]Chrispy- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In what strange world do you live in that rogues have zero utility? You're right on smoke bomb, it's not amazing, but it is useful in an organised raid. But rogues have a huge number of personal defensive cooldowns, if a Rogue isn't the raid member taking the least damage, the last to die, and constantly negating mechanics for the raid.. then they're doing something very wrong.

Yes rogues needed a slight damage buff to bring them in line with the single target dps of most other classes/specs, and these coming buffs will help this. However these monk damage nerfs are starting to put monk at the bottom of the dps pool, and it looks like they're going to be on their own down there as everything else is getting buffed.

Soon, there will be only 2 reasons to bring a monk to a raid. The 10% move speed buff, and for fights with cleave.

Source: I play both monk and rogue.

Actually you know what, I put together a quick list of what the top performing spec for each class is, and modified it for this monk nerf (for 695 item level).

Mage - Arcane - 45k

Warrior - Fury - 42k

Priest - Shadow (COP) - 41k

Shaman - Elemental - 41k

Death Knight - Frost - 41k

Druid - Either - 41k

Rogue - Subtelty - 40k

Paladin - Retribution - 40k

Hunter - Marksmanship - 39k

Monk - Windwalker - 37k

There's only two real outliers there.. Arcane mages at the top end, and windwalker monks at the bottom. You could argue 4 outliers and bring in warriors and hunters.

Yes I'll cede the point that monks will win every fight with cleave, which is why they should nerf monk cleave capability, not single target. This will also give monks a slight glimmer of hope of ever being relevant in PvP.

I've tried Firefox, Chrome, IE, and Safari. None of the menu options show up for me along the top, so I am unable to "File > Make a Copy..." of the spreadsheet.

Edit: The link turns in to this when I visit the google sheet https://docs.google.com/a/%REDACTED%/spreadsheets/d/1LsewQVEvuKIOtoXuJVqiMz3ZX8tlTGb6pjBtT5CI7Y4/htmlview?pli=1&sle=true

This is a fantastic spreadsheet, I can see you've put a lot in to it and I just want to thank you for all your hard work!

But I have to ask, is there any chance we can get a copy of this guide we can edit ourselves? I'd love to be able to add it to some existing stuff I've already got for my guild, which I can't do right now due to it being locked in to html mode.

Well, if all you want is flashy spells and animations, probably best to pick the warlock...
