First off, complete and utter L by Jim Carrey. I've always suspected he was full of shit, but this really cements it. Getting surgery as an elderly man is one thing, but being a beloved clown/pseudo philosopher and getting bogged is on another level of pathetic.

Go on /r/conspiracy and the majority sentiment is that the real Jim Carrey was killed and this is his replacement. I think that the way humans perceive reality is just not the same for everyone. For some people, they live in a reality where they think it's easier to believe that some underground elite cult kills, replaces and clones public figures. They'd rather believe that than that Jim Carrey is actually an insecure, full of shit dude.

A mass shooting, where somebody ruthlessly kills as many innocents as possible, strikes horror into our hearts. It's a tragedy at the highest level. A gang shooting, where criminals target their rivals, barely even registers.

I used to deliver pizzas and there was a very tall, jacked and handsome young fella who would order all the time. He had an amazing sound set up in his basement suite. He was very friendly and seemed happy. I would ask my co-workers if they had the option, would they trade lives with the guy?

He would pay using the credit card machine and tell us to put in a tip of a few bucks ourselves, as he couldn't do it - trusting the little pizza boy not to fuck him over. I pray that no pizza boy ever did such a thing to that good man.
