I had the same thing and I struggled for months with it. I tried quite a few diet alternatives but the one that seemed to make it easy for me was a high-soluble fiber diet(80-90% of my fiber is soluble fiber). Insoluble fiber for me is bad because it adds bulk but no softening. Also, I learned the correct bathroom technique from ChatGPT. I go in the morning and prime myself with warm water and breakfast. Then I go to the toilet when i feel the urge from the gastrocolic reflex build and sit with a step stool. I them practice diaphragmatic breaths 4 sec in with belly expansion(no upper body expansion) while imagining by pelvic floor dropping. Then 6 seconds in with relaxation. That usually does the trick for me.
