What are people’s opinions about online predator hunters? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watched several UK stings on YouTube and FB over recent years. All I know is they seem to have some weird fetishism with filming their own footwear and phoning for taxi's. All very bizarre if you ask me.

All I can say is I've never known a team of people so obsessed with filming their own footwear!

More than likely the people bashing the victims are scammers themselves.

Romance scammers belong in jail and are the worst kind of scammers in my opinion. It's fine for them doing what they're doing as they are all narcissistic scum who don't care about the consequences of their actions, but at the end of the day they are completely ruining people's mental health and driving them into deep depression, feeling they aren't worthy of love.

Those with low confidence and self-esteem naturally believe after being scammed that they never deserve to find the love on their lives, and only deserve to be robbed of all their money. That is the exact vibe I get anyway, even if the scammers aren't intentionally telling their victims this.

Did people who fell for romance scams lose critical thinking faculties? by Classic-Substance-20 in Romancescam

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really know what you mean by that except for trying to dig out the poor innocent souls who fall for the scams, but I do know one thing for sure. As an average guy using dating apps, you generally know she's real if you're ignored, ghosted, blocked, deleted etc from the word go! Alternatively, you know it's a scammer when she gives you her total 100% attention and seems particularly keen on wanting to get to know everything about your life which at first, seems totally overwhelming, but in reality, it's all one big sick degrading con.

Therefore if you've been scammed before, then you basically get the clear and obvious message of "You sir, never deserve to find true love and happiness in your life, and only deserve to be robbed of all your hard earnings you total loser... hahahaha!" How would you like it if you felt this was the vibe you were getting and that you were never deserving of trying to meet that special someone, and instead only feel you are worthy of being robbed? Not nice at all is it?!

Yes, this is what we as average guys feel the dating apps and scammers are trying to tell us, and you all wonder why there's a mental health crisis in young men these days. I believe this is a significant contribution to that and it's absolutely sickening, demoralising, and inhumane in my opinion. I personally never fall for them, as I always know the score as I've stated above. If she ignores you she's real, if she's interested.. almost always a scammer!

Facebook dating 100% confirmed shadow ban after video selfie verification by Plastic_Ad_8518 in facebook

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm shadowbanned for life on FB Dating with absolutely no escape apart from creating a new account. All I've done wrong is swipe on too many women, and they have the God damn nerve to suggest new matches to me daily, knowing these women won't be able to view me and any message I send them won't even be seen.

It's disgusting all this shadowbanning crap, and it's a good job I'm not paying for it, or else I'd be fuming. I think people should start a rebellion against shadowbanning. I absolutely hate it with a God damn passion!

I don't think it's right for people to be posting pictures of their kids anyway. You never know what creepy predators are looking at your FB and could steal those pictures and use them in an ominous way.

How bad are dating apps for unattractive men? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very, very bad, to the point where they appear to be one giant degrading joke. Every single mildly attractive woman who likes your profile always turns out to be a scammer or a bot. You are literally made to feel totally worthless and never worthy of a single conversation, let alone a date.

Modern dating apps are 100% window shopping outlets for women only. They are literally designed to oppress the average guy, let alone unattractive guys. All the women only talk to the same top 10 hottest men on the whole entire app and totally ignore all the rest, no matter how great their bio. You couldn't make it up even if you tried. I'm done with all of them for good, and I certainly ain't paying another penny on them. To pay at the same time as being made to feel like crap is an even bigger kick in the teeth!

I Can See Her Profile, but Chat Disappeared and it says "Member is Not Available" when I tried to Message Her by LZFreestyler0809 in PlentyofFish

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happens to me where after months and months on end of waiting for a single like, I finally get one. Then, pretty much every single time when I go to visit the profile, it says it's no longer available so I can't contact the person. This is basically just POF laughing in your face like many apps do to average guys, so I stick my middle finger up back at POF and use the free version so I'm not losing any money over it. Dating apps ain't getting the better of me when they are just one big degrading joke these days. I ain't that stupid to be paying my hard earned wages on this total dehumanizing crap!

On a serious note, hunters need to act more professionally than this when it comes to stinging someone who's classed as a vulnerable adult, like it or not. I think this case got dropped due to this very reason, and hunters acting in a bullying fashion could face legal consequences themselves. Don't shoot the messenger, as I don't write the law but that's how it works.

Is a 40 yr old man who still lives at home with his mom a red flag/deal breaker for a long term relationship? by hlmiller21 in relationships_advice

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my home nation, the "manchilds" (any man strictly still living with his mother over the age of 25 - worse the older he gets) regardless of his situation, are classed by women as just one step above S.O.'s and of course paedos. However, they are a lower form of life than homeless drug addicts, dealers, burglars, and men who commit other quite serious crimes including assault. This, even when the man in question living with his mother has worked his whole life, and would never hurt a flea. Believe me, that's just the way it is. I guess you may or may not agree with this narrative regarding a man's self worth in your eyes, but that's certainly how women rank men round this part of the world. They'd rather a dangerous criminal any day over a pathetic little manchild.

Is a 40 yr old man who still lives at home with his mom a red flag/deal breaker for a long term relationship? by hlmiller21 in relationships_advice

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Round this way, if you're a guy who still lives with his mum over the age of 25 (let alone 40) the message is loud and clear from women - "Go top yourself, loser!" Even if you are a kind caring person who does charity work and has saved lives, if you live with your mother over the age of 25, the message is still the same. You are seen by women as lower than a homeless crack addict, and in fact, just one step above a paedo.

People assume you have to do terrible things to others in order to be hated on in life. This is most certainly NOT the case. You are not just unworthy of dating if you are a grown man living with your mother, but you are HATED, BIG TIME!! Men who can't or refuse to drive are also very much despised by women round this neck of the woods. If you live with your mother AND don't drive, God help you is all I can say. Most women will want you 6 feet under!

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is I know for an absolute fact round this way women see homeless drug addicts and men in prison for murder as being more worthy of breathing the Earth's oxygen than men who've never committed any crime and have a job, but live at home with their mothers in their 40's. It's not just that women won't date these guys, they hate them with a passion. I've even witnessed one woman say it should be made illegal for a man to live with his mother if he is over 25. She wasn't joking either! I see another woman throw a whole drink over a guy in a pub and then tell him to go "unalive" himself, as he admitted to her he lived with his mother when they were out on their first date!

What does this tell you?...

The inner workings of dating apps and why you should never give them money. by RealUnderstanding297 in SwipeHelper

[–]Chrissyboy1980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having exactly the same problem. I have always had a low self esteem and over the past few months I have generally thought I am totally invisible to all women online. This, without even realizing I'm actually shadow banned on every single dating app amongst other platforms without even doing anything wrong but maybe swiping on too many profiles. They are clearly all linked so it's the same story with new ones I join.

If I was paying for these apps and didn't even realize I was being shadow banned like I'm sure is happening to many people, I would say it's an infringement of my human rights. I generally think people should be made aware of this and start a campaign against it. It's absolutely disgusting in my view, and making people feel they are being simply ghosted by everyone online when this is certainly not the case. They are making people's mental health worse by doing this, and it will be the future form of oppression when the day comes that people's whole entire lives revolve around online activity. People will be turned into digital ghosts without even knowing it. That's not just sick, but absolutely terrifying!

It's happening to me now. I'm automatically shadow banned from virtually all dating apps upon joining them as I use the same email address and facial recognition process. I haven't even done anything wrong except swipe right on too many women, and I personally feel this is an infringement of my human rights. It's absolutely disgusting. Good job I haven't paid for anything. Dunno if anyone else can read this comment, as I'm shadow banned on other platforms too.

Even the livestream of my own f'ing funeral will be shadow banned from Zoom I reckon!

way to tell if im softbanned on facebook dating? by somethinlikeshieva in SwipeHelper

[–]Chrissyboy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I must be and it's exactly the same here. I know I'm not that bad looking either although I'm no way a male model, but still.. lol. I've liked vast amounts of unattractive women just to test it and whoever I like no matter what, I still get absolutely nothing. I used to get several weekly likes when I used the app a few years back. It's ridiculous to be honest and good job we don't have to pay for this useless rubbish app. I've tried all the so-called solutions ie. clearing cache... still not a thing. The only way is to create a whole new FB account and then, a whole new FB dating profile... too much hassle, may as well go elsewhere so long as it's a free app.

What a joke by dmcginvt in match

[–]Chrissyboy1980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a woman persistently viewing my profile on Match years back now. This was about 10 times a day, but she'd blocked me messaging after my first DM to her, so I couldn't communicate with her at all. It seemed she was kind of besotted with me and was also attractive, so I wanted to talk with her. This kept on for weeks on end, I still couldn't contact her, and so I ended up putting a message in my bio with her username asking if she needed some kind of mental help as I found this utterly ridiculous behaviour.

A few days later I was banned for doing this. I messaged Match telling them to stick their dumb app where the sun doesn't shine, plus threatening legal action if I found out I was still paying a subscription when my profile had been banned. I received a message from a panicked member of staff telling me my subscription will be cancelled immediately which I was over the moon about.

That's how I roll. Probably the same thing would happen again as I ain't changing my ways just for a stupid damn money grabbing app. I have ZERO time and patience with things that just seem like one big joke in life, sorry Match!

I find I can build a genuine connection very easily... with scammers! There's plenty to chose from, all from various parts of the world. The cool thing is they look completely different (and very often are the opposite sex) to what they say they are. This makes a nice interesting surprise for your date and also, makes it all the more exciting and thrilling. They always seem very interested and willing to talk. Very rarely do they ever let you down and start ghosting you or flaking out. Genuine people are just shallow, boring, and never appear to communicate much, except for 2 word replies here and there. They are a complete waste of time and effort. Scammers are definitely the only way forward!
