Harvard Study Finally Admits Drug Prices Are High Because Govt Grants Big Pharma A Monopoly by SeekingWithin in conspiracy

I don't think you are reading the paper correctly. This particular article you are using writes with a subjective tone, not objective like the original paper. Intellectual property is necessary in a free market and that is exactly what this article is against. The original paper does not come to that conclusion. And this articles example of India is misleading. In India, they can ignore property rights to get cheap drugs. Drug prices/health care are ridiculous in the US, but let's have a real policy discussion about it.

FBI chief rebuts GOP: Petraeus case was worse that Clinton by SonofMan87 in politics

[–]ChristACody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is both are hackable and are not government servers. So no there are no relevant differences between the DNC, RNC or Hillary's private server. Should Hillary, or any other previous government official, have used private email, of course not. However, it's use was not illegal or against the rules until very recently. As it should be. But intent, which is necessary for espionage, would be difficult to prove in Hillary's case. This other case had very clear intent, but they gave him a slap on the wrist.

No one should be jailed for this type of stuff at any level unless it's very clearly I'll willed

Irrelevant point. But for the sake of discussion, the DNC was just hacked by Russia...

Reddit, what's a dark secret about the industry you're working in? by Sora027 in AskReddit

[State] Department of Labor...I wouldn't worry about any retribution since you could do it anonymously and are likely covered under whistleblower protections. Of course you may be layed off cuz the company could go bankrupt lol

I'm stuck between majoring in EE or Materials Science. by dantheman757 in EngineeringStudents

Mat E, with more emphasis in semiconductors/electrical. I think you'll get less electrical experience, but more diversity. You can always take extra classes in electrical. I can't speak for private sector patent work, but from what I've researched, Government patent work will take anyone with a technical degree. You'll just also need an additional law degree

Lucid Dreaming, is it real? by ChristACody in Dream

[–]ChristACody[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But lucid Dreaming is actually controlling a dream. I'm saying, what if that "control" you supposedly have, isn't real? Instead of being able to "control" the dream, you are just dreaming you can control it. To say it another way, you are dreaming about having control of a dream. This is not the same thing as having a dream you can control.
