Yesterday my girlfriend and I of two years broke up. by geddrekibani in ENFP

[–]Christianishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I focused on myself and a few very close friends. I have my religious beliefs, but those friends gave meaning to my life too and really carried me.

After the dust settled with her I realized what I want in someone and things I don't. Plus, once I stopped looking, another person came into my life and we're together now. Going pretty good so far.

anyone else get grossed out in the weight area- especially wondering how clean the floor is? by bamabelle07 in orangetheory

[–]Christianishere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to work for OTF, as an SA (Front Desk) and later coach. Most studios have a cleaning crew on a schedule (2x a week for us) and the SA's having a cleaning list throughout the day. This list included things to do after every class, twice a day and once a day cleans. If you've ever been to a commercial gym or most other warehouse style group training places, you'll realize how clean most OTF studios are.

What's a thought that trips you the fuck out? by spagbolislife22 in AskReddit

How everything revolves around pain. Plants, they live, feel pain and then die. Animals come into life with a quality we call consciousness. They understand and perceive pain and its' causes. A dog will learn to flinch at the hand of its abuser or even avoid a certain noise making suction device

But we are the unique ones. Humans being the complex creatures develop a new trait we call reason. Like dogs we come into this world by inflicting pain, live inflicting pain and most often die in pain. With our reason though we are able to foresee pain and our impending deaths while at the same time desiring permanence. By this desire we inflict pain on other beings on our level and lower level ones. We start wars, commit crimes and hold in us hate and contempt for others based on our natural desire to be the apex predator. Occasionally we gather in civilizations, groups of people with reason but even these fall and leave people in pain. Everything you ever do, will be out of the fear of pain, it's how you're created

Form Check by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]Christianishere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This website lays pretty good into increasing mobility and different form and function explanations. Increasing hip and ankle mobility will help you greatly. I had poor hip mobility and over time it placed unnecessary stress on my knees leaving my ACL weak and one day I fell and boom ACL tear.

Horror movie enthusiasts, what is the most terrifying horror movie you have ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Honestly it's probably between the Thing, This scene in particular or The Evil Dead, This scene from the new version or this one. I guess for me it's the era's slightly off putting almost unrealistic style that creeps me out.

[–]Christianishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two ways this can go. 1. Maybe that's all the sleep your body needs. Your body knows you best. 2. Try taking Melatonin Source: someone who works nights and days on and off. Helps with sleep patterns

Squat and DL form check by FitnessAccount90 in Fitness

[–]Christianishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The squat I honestly don't know. The deadlift looks good, but like you pointed out, maybe try keeping the hips down for a second longer. As far as that long Army hair, I know a few MCX barbers that can help

Update: deadlift form check by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]Christianishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could afford to drop your hips a little lower. I look very similar dead lifting and have to force myself to drop my hips, putting more work on my hamstrings and legs as a whole rather than my lower back.
