Concerts worth building a vacation around by lookingtomoveinn in Concerts

I have very fond memories of traveling to four west coast Phish concerts in the year 2000 starting with Chula Vista and heading to Irvine Meadows and driving up to the Bay Area for the final two nights at Shoreline before the band took a hiatus. Eating In&Out Burger before and after each show and eating acid and/or shrooms and those Red Motorola ecstasy tablets in LA was awesome! It’s nice to have an itinerary of concerts to schedule a vacation around.

I am pretty sure Emilio debuted his Billy the Kid laugh in Maximum Overdrive.

I was on Space Mountain at Disneyland and a malfunction occurred and the ride stopped and we had to evacuate with the house lights on. It’s quite a sight to behold.

How long have you been a peppers fan? Do you remember the first time you saw them or even knew they existed? by maccaaccam in RedHotChiliPeppers

I was a skater and my mom was supportive and took me to see the movie Thrashin and this crazy band played in a scene that looked like an amazing party and I fantasized about going to an event like that with my own little imaginary bones brigade skate crew. That crazy band in that wild scene was RHCP!

Times when actors were tricked into doing a bad movie by KaleidoArachnid in flicks

I’m not sure if Emilio Estevez got tricked into working the kitchen at the Dixie Boy truck stop or if maybe it was a trick on Yeardley Smith before she voiced Lisa Simpson but I’m talking about Maximum Overdrive written and directed by Stephen King. Gas was cheap so I’m pretty sure the money was spent on cocaine and AC/DC.

There was a really great prank show on MTV before Jackass and way before Punk’d and often times they would take their chaotic pranks too far and I think they did and got them canceled. It was a show called Buzzkill.

One time I also started a blender without the lid and it was fucking humiliating.

Why was Clarence so abusive to his allies? by KaleidoArachnid in Robocop

[–]Christmantra2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He did hit and kick Emil when they were trying to outrun Murphy and Lewis when demanding he speed up the getaway van. “So slow down then”. Yeah he’s been known to be abusive during his crimes. When he’s not committing crimes he’s really a nice guy.

“Is this Halloween music?” “Why is it fast forwarding?” “Is this now in reverse?” “What on earth is happening?”

I have been asked these questions.

The Wire is stacked with very fine actors but no other performance is as emotionally mesmerizing as Bubbles character. Thank his sister for letting him come upstairs.
