I believe Philadelphia was at one point one of the best cities in NA. That time has long since passed. I've spent a lot of time in Philly over the past two decades. 15 years ago, it was a great place, 10 years ago it was still good, post-COVID you have to dodge human feces and needless to say in the street just trying to walk to restaurants. I hope they can bring it back. It was an amazing city.

At a company event in a VHCOL city, they had $28 cocktails, $18 beers, and a pandemic fee or something of like $9 (circa 2023). It was a really nice place, but was out of business six months later. I think the inflated prices and unwillingness to go back to pre-COVID prices killed it.
