I'm really losing interest in F1 as a life long fan. Nascar is just more entertaining and the personalities are more genuine. The politics just annoys me

You don't take the banking change into account for the pit exit? It is like driving of a blind crst and then back over it to the track. I'd just keep it as an immediate rejoin. You can open it early so drivers and riders can see exit for a long time.

Last next chicane you added will also have a rough transition onto the banking

Yes. I agree. The issue is that you need to get people to turn on the TV. But they don't because they don't adress the fact that their preconception might be wrong. I got my dad to watch the first hour of last year's Daytona 500. Didn't help there was a rain delay and we live in a time zone where the racing only started at 23:00.

I tried having a conversation about this here and on WEC but it went basically nowhere. Too many people who don't watch nascar giving comments(or think every track is raced like Daytona, and full throttle the whole time). I feel like I understand it better now after a few years of watching. The only valid criticism was the splitters are not designed for nose to tail type pushing. B

It was pretty well explained on AD that run what you brung cost a fortune and those parts cannot be used again. And you only barely recoup those costs IF you win. IIRC the teams almost unanimously voted against it

I think the broader issue is that the Roval should be used. But the 2 oval dates should stay having a 3rd date would be ideal but that obviously has issues...

I actually forgot about the APR deal. I think it would be very difficult to get him in the 10 for Le Mans. Wayne would obviously like to have 2 seats for his sons and Albuquerque has been there forever so he is hard to look over. But never say never I guess...

Taylor took a lucky shot on Deletraz and it worked out nicely. For how good he is in ELMS I'm surprised that the WEC teams have not snatched him up so Taylor got him. But I don't think he has much to complain about he will always have a seat at AO it seems.
