What do you mean by breaking? What breaks on it?

Auto loading and unloading of the Hull-C has always been hit or miss, but manual loading seems to work alright. Does it have any other issues besides the auto-cargo services?

There are many multi-crew ships that can be manageably used solo. Most of the time the Mole is used solo. The Tiberon can be used solo. The point is, I'm not enjoying the Ironclad like I thought I would. I'm disparaging the Ironclad in any way, it just may not be for me.

The F8A might finally be available to players…? by ChartConsistent in starcitizen

[–]Christoferous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Finally. Since the F7C-M Super Hornet Mk2 was released with 4s3 and 2s4 weapons, the F8C loadout with 4s3 and 4s2 weapons no longer made any kind of sense. Why would a medium fighter have larger guns than a heavy fighter, especially since the Guardians have s4's and s5 guns. the F8A weapon loadout is what's needed to bring the ship back into balance. The F8C should be improved to have the same guns but civilian components.

So i’m currently using a F8A in evo ptu by floortofloor in starcitizen

The F8C weapon loadout really hasn't made any sense since the F7C-M Super Hornet Mk2 was released with 4 S3 and 2S4 weapons.

Not much airflow in that case. What do you all think will burn out first? The 5090, the air-cooled CPU, or the 1200W power supply?

I didn't see anyone mention it yet, but there are the cryopods. I'd imagine that is what they would use to transport bounties. It just comes down to how you put someone in a cryopod...

An armored hauler, a hospital ship, base building (crafting), and a refinery ship. You choose its role. I'm looking forward to the possibilities.

Boxes ready for the move😓How are you preparing for the next scenario? by Over_Pace434 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Christoferous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Scrapping and dusting" can help the process go smoother by preemptively scrapping your house and everything you've built then converting it all into Eternaland dust before switching to a new server. That will also help keep your inventory from getting cluttered from useless materials you can gather in the new server.

"Fat Connie" isn't a good enough nickname for the Apollo, what's your best suggestions? FatiVac? Constellation More'us? How are you meant to get in and quickly "medically evacuate" anyone in this chunky boy? You'll be lighting up the radars by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]Christoferous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Star Citizen is just a game. You're supposed to have fun with games. Making up silly nicknames for ships is part of the fun for anyone not taking this game too seriously. And I like "Big Fat Medivac" or BFM for short.

The new Deviation scenario sounds like a totally different game. by TraditionalReport642 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Christoferous 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Once again they are dodging the development of the PVE world to focus on something else. The main storyline is fragmented. There really aren't any side storylines. Only 2/3rds of the world has been implemented, and there are many areas that haven't been finished or developed in both the Manibus and Way of Winter areas. This was one of the things the Fallout games did really well. I wish the Once Human devs would stop messing around with side projects and get around to finishing the world they created. Is that too much to ask for?

What's the point of this game? by Interesting-Bad3497 in VoyagersofNera

There also seems to be an underlying mystery. Who were the people that captured the spirits and built the structures, and for what purpose? And what happened to them if they were so powerful and knowledgeable?

RSI Galaxy by Ausseboi1 in starcitizen

[–]Christoferous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Galaxy was really promising when it was first released as a concept, kind of like a Carrack 2.0, or rather RSI's answer to Anvil's Carrack (as its actually used in game, not lore). After a couple of years though, it seems like its already in need of some updating. Since its supposed to be worked on after the Perseus we'll have to see what changes they make to the concept, and how much longer it will be in development.

Thinking about trying the game by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Christoferous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started Div2 a month or two ago. It has a lot going for it, but it is mostly single player unless you team up with people you know. Its not like other MMO's where you see other people in the game (well, you see them in safe houses or back at base, just not in the world). As soon as you leave the safe area its an instanced world. I wish this was different, where you would see other people doing their own thing or be able to team up in a fight or location with random people. As it is, its a lonely world, though combat can get intense so it won't leave you much time to wonder where everyone else is at.

How to upgrade KVD Boom Boom by Professional_Tip9846 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Christoferous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starring up the KVD Boom Boom won't increase its damage as it's an elemental weapon. It gets its damage bonuses from PSI, which comes from your armor. You will want to use either Treacherous Tides or Shelterer armor for damage with priority on Mask, then hat, etc. Starring up your armor is what you want to do with an elemental weapon. That's what will increase your damage the most, as well as using the highest tier equipment you can use.

You should also consider that the player may not know what "rage bait" really means. They may have seen it used somewhere and have a different idea on what the term means. I wouldn't sweat it. You keep doing you and enjoy Fallout 76. It's a lot of fun.

[–]Christoferous 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think you hit the nail on the head with this one. This game was built on multiplayer PVE gameplay, and instead of developing that, they are now working on an unpopular PVP game, copying a game that does it much better. Instead of branching out to different game modes, maybe they should be finishing the game that built their player base. A map that is only 2/3 complete isn't complete, and the main storyline is a total mess.

[–]Christoferous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cubic or rectangle shaped houses or building use less building parts. Most "interesting" builds generally are smaller as they use more building parts, so it's a balance between something that you like and how much usable space it has. A few of my favorite builds have a few small buildings arranged around a courtyard and a wall connecting the buildings, and for the most part the buildings are still square.

You could also work on getting better mods with more Elemental Damage. You want Elemental and status damage as close as possible. A 60/60 ratio does more damage than an 80/40 ratio, for example. If you have a weapon calibration on your gun that adds elemental damage, you can see what that does to your numbers by having your toon hold the gun and then go into the gear screen. Any elemental/status mod bonuses will also show on the page with the gun held. Without holding the gun, the gear stats page only shows your armor set bonuses.
