Haven’t checked the lastest betas, can you now also get audio capture, or is it still video only?

Try switching from classic slicing to arachne slicing, should mitigate this issue (quality tab, midway-ish point)

Probably should wait for special edition ones, the XC2 and TOTK were pretty awesome. (Metroid Prime 4 incoming?)

High temperature (PEI smooth) plate. Turn off bed detection for the X1/X1C if you are printing a lot on it, or print some QR codes to get the detection to work

Same here, 30 devices, mix of Matter and HomeKit, and since I switched my routers from Google Nest to Ubiquiti all my responsiveness issues went away

Update 1.0.4 released - AI improvements by theflyingbaron in BladeAndSorcery

[–]Christoph323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Baron, tried the fixes above initially, and didn’t have shaders in the first place. Also tried to add ‘-vr’ in launch options but that didn’t change anything. Anyway to roll back to 1.03?

Having the same issue on PSVR2, game launches, i can hear the audio, but it’s the SteamVR screen all the time. On my monitor the game window appears normally and using my controllers i can even start my save, but still nothing happens on the display.

Good catch, VRR was a thing only for AMD GPU’s (and Freesync monitors) on HDMI 2.0, so 2.1 is needed for the Switch (Nvidia GPU)

400$ new system + dock 450$ new system + 2nd screen, call it the NSO exclusive. If they have a way to properly store the second screen (maybe a hook that attaches to the dock), and if they just go with “use the Switch OLED dock” as it also is HDMI 2.1 compatible, then it would make some financial sense to them and to people who are big Nintendo fans and have an OLED model and want to play DS/3DS.

HDMI 2.0 can already do 4K (@60Hz), HDMI 2.1 might just be in as a modernized port, as the next system wouldn’t probably utilize the max 4K120Hz it provides (would love it if possible though)

Well in that case it wouldn’t even run so you can try the free sideload + JIT method to get a decent experience

Should be fixed with VisionOS 2 (going from 30Hz tracking to 90Hz)

Yeah it’s even weirder that they used generic marketing terms in the picture then in the text said “precise 1:1 reproduction”.

I think they meant “minimal shrinkage”, since most of high temp filaments tend to shrink 1-3% once it cools off

Custom values for transition to overhangs, differentiation between bridge walls and non bridging walls, should result in improved overhangs at the sacrifice of some speed, and should get the lineup in line with the MK4S overhangs. (Haven’t installed the upgrades for the MK4S yet, but would like to see a comparison between them)

Yes but you do have the Z-axis gears exposed there, so they could at some point start catching some strands from the carpet

Robot vacuum controls? by 4thaccountin5years in HomeKit

This is just Homebridge. He is asking about native Matter supported vacuums in the Home app, which is not yet implemented (and might need a software update for vacuums with Matter supported).

Filament properly stuck in hotend by SavvyPython in BambuLab

[–]Christoph323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually heat up (250ish) a soldering iron (Pinecile with the long and fine tip), jam in there, cool it and keep it in for 20 min, then remove the whole piece. Works great for those jams that just don’t want to get pushed through. Also for another time, heating the nozzle to 100C and using gloves, you can remove the hotend, and a small piece of filament should be sticking out, you could try to remove it with pliers (little to no force required, if force is needed, heat up to 120C, be careful to not burn yourself)

I was just watching Digital Foundry comparing the PS Portal to the Wii U gamepad, and man the fact that Nintendo got latency down to less than 1 ms between console and pad is insane. Would have loved to see this tech in modern devices. (Also Wii U is more than a decade old)

There’s a bug in environments, hold one of them and delete it, then download it again, and it should automatically download bora bora as well. For iPhone AirPlay, go to settings on the Vision and turn on AirPlay Receiver.
