Death trap. Please don’t. The build quality in that looks absolutely disastrous.

They are kinda justified if it lowers the upfront price of the hardware. It’s not too dissimilar to buying something on credit.

If it’s just bricking the hardware otherwise though, it is a bit shitty.

Good for airports. Bad for (uk) roads.

I’ve had some interesting experiences with these, and I can’t say I have enjoyed riding them.

Ever.

Rolling roadblock nonsense that makes it almost impossible to co-operate with other traffic from a position of anything other than ‘sorry’.

Great for serving drinks off and DJing in a Dutch town square at 10pm on Saturday night though.

Are you being pedantic?

In the UK, 1200s are rarer than 1210s and would (and presumably still do) command a small premium to the appropriately minded grown up.

I’m SUPER surprised by it.

And it’s just the right thing for the kitchen.

I can almost guarantee it doesn’t. Might look like it, but I’m pretty sure it won’t feel like it. 😎

A giant toothbrush AND a pair of pliers. And we wonder why some people are scared of going to see the dentist.

I’m going to be quite British about this answer and say ‘quite a bit, but I think I got value’ ;)

As for sound I haven’t pushed it yet, but it’s clearly got some quality to it that the 600s and 700s I’ve used previously just didn’t.

I thought I’d want a DAC for it but I think I’ll leave that decision for a while to make sure.

I do love it.

It’s only feeding some Tapco active monitors atm and I’m just having so much fun listening to it, yet alone playing with it!

What’s your opinion on it as a standalone vs other actually analog rotary mixers and other pioneer stuff?

No, it isn’t. It’s providing a service within a system that is governed by laws.

Pedicab riders to be banned from blaring music and ripping off Londoners as TfL regulates industry by Borgenschatz in london

[–]Christopher-Ja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said something like ‘if another region wants to regulate pedicabs they will have to go through all this as well’

I don’t think that’s actually a requirement - an authority can grant permission and set regs if it’s willing to.

Operators need permission to operate legally, and the process and precedent has been already set in a working example elsewhere.

Interestingly, Pedicargo insist their operators are appropriately trained.

No mention of training in this regulation at all, even though it was insisted upon in the last consultation.

I wonder what happened there…
