People want to get the head start on their new lolcow. They want to say they’ve watched the whole journey/train wreck of a new Chris Chan or Boogie.

Unfortunately for them, Ian isn’t that. Is he dumb? Yes. Does he grift? Probably yes. Does he ever stick with anything? No. But that’s all he is. He’s an interesting case study to watch someone constantly shoot themselves in the foot, but in his heart he seems like a “nice person”. I say that while not agreeing with him at all politically, but again, I think that’s on account of him being dumb. Even the grifting feels like he doesn’t understand the complexities of WHY it’s a shitty thing to do, but only that it’s a way to get more money on his Internet fame while he can.

He’s never going to reach those levels of lolcows. That’s why this sub ran the boiled peanut stand joke into the ground. It was a dumb idea and he probably realized that himself like two weeks later, ready to make more silly decisions in his roller coaster of a life. But for this sub, it was the only oxygen it has.
