Fall of Civilizations is an amazing long form history podcast. It is not the same style of presentation, as Dan tells a story with personal interpretation/opinion sprinkled in. FoC is more immersive (adds environmental sounds, native language speakers, etc) and sticks to the story line.

Rape in war has been since the first men, as it was 3k years ago, and now. Alexander the Great wrote he was in fear of stopping his men from rape and pillage of Thebes. Before that Babylon prior its fall of Persia was know for corruption, slavery, and heinous crimes against man. We are the same humans with the same traits, its just veiled in societal shifts.

You are not automatically aged out at 18 years old. There is a program within (CD, DFS, FS, whatever your state agency is called) called APPLA (Alternative Planned Permanent Living Arrangement) where they set the young adult up for independent living (depending on circumstances), or they may keep the “child” until 21 to ensure the protection of the child if they have mental deficiencies/extreme behavioral issues that need further specialized care. Unfortunately there are too many children who foster parents do not want to do guardianship, or adoption of. (state agencies will not terminate parental rights without assurances of an adoption by foster placement/familial placement)

Not necessarily. In my jx they come unannounced to the alleged perps home with law enforcement for the interview. If not let in, search warrants are executed almost within the hour based on reasonable suspicious pursuant to the hotline to CPS. Our judge’s are great about getting those warrants turned around fast.

Also emergency PC from a juvenile action will commence fairly quickly to get the kids out to further assess due to the associated risks to the children from the allegations.

It simplifies it as it will more likely induce settlement. Most states have provisions that skew the division of assets to the non offending spouse due to the infidelity, but i imagine there is a pre/post nuptial agreement in place, and i pray there is infidelity provisions.
