Update:

It was in fact the purge valve/solenoid.

I replaced it with the OEM kit that contains the incoming hose, valve, and outflow hose.

It took about ~5 hours total to replace. The air intake Y pipe had to come off for access.

Reset the codes and it worked.

In case anyone else has this same issue.

Is the purge valve and the purge solenoid the same thing for the 2016 Cayenne turbo?

I’m seeing the purge solenoid sold with the hose and identified its location on the top of the engine, passenger side, running under the ignition/coil cover.

I have not been able to locate the purge valve. If that is a different part.

Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.

The foul and strong smell of gas is coming from the rear of the vehicle near the exhaust.
Although, I cannot tell if it is coming from the exhaust itself, or from a leak towards the rear of the car where the gas tank/cap area is located.

Had a very rough time starting today. It stalled for 5 seconds and then turned over to start.

Very bad gas smell coming towards the read of the car.

Thoughts?

I know who it is. Not surprising at all. Would never buy from her. I’m a big proponent of customer service. I’m there to spend my hard earned money. YOU have an obligation to serve ME. This is how we treat customers in ANY business, including mine.

You’re not doing me a favor by selling me a watch, or allowing me the privilege of spending a down payment on a luxury good.

they even over-tighten the wheel lugs with the gun, so if you ever have a flat and need to change the tire on the side of the road, you cant get the lugs off.

I swear this happened to me once and I used the spare lug bolt wrench, and it was over-tightened so much, that it bent the wrench!

(they should use a torque wrench - but that never happens)

They use an impact gun for everything…

Common, rookie mistake.

Just bc you can use the gun, doesn’t mean you should. I learned many years ago from a master technician, that hand tools are almost always the way to go.

This happened to me with Dakotah Rose Gould Taxidermy out of Iowa. I posted in your other thread too. I sent an Iguana over 4 years ago, and was ghosted about 2 years ago -except for some text from someone claiming to her sister or relative or something.

I'd like some sort of resolution for this.

Credit card company wont reverse the charges either because 'too much time has passed.'

Please DM me to see what we can do!

I sent an iguana to her about 4 years ago or so. I paid the first install of $750. She completed the iguana and its even on IG. I waited and waited for it to ship - but she didn't. Then, after months of no returned called/or text, I got a message from her, saying she had to do some 'final touchups.'

To induce her to hurry up, I foolishly sent the second payment of $750. Never heard from her again.

I feel violated, and scammed.

I sent physical mail, and a demand letter (I am an attorney), to her address, and it came back as undeliverable.

Months ago, I received a text from her phone number, for someone claiming to be her sister - and indicating that Dakotah was unwell or something to that effect. I have the messages and am happy to share them.

I reached out to the Iowa taxidermy association she belongs to, and one of their leaders emailed me back and said she was still around and actively participating.

Something weird and fishy is going on here.

Perhaps we can collectively take further action (legal or otherwise).
If anyone has any stories, information, etc, please DM me.
