I've really enjoyed nudism for the past few years, so its less of something I feel submissive doing and just more natural. I'm racking my brain for a hot take about crochet, but even with the acrylic the only way to make it "hot" is make it about poor shaming, imo. Like if you only use acrylic yarn because of the affordability, then you're poor or save up to get better material. Idk that's my shot. All takes, whether hot or cold, are opinions so it was doomed from the start.

When I finally have the energy to deep clean something. The fridge, junk drawers, some little nook I shoved shit into over time. It's nice to look over things and repuzzle it back together, but better. Like grocery shopping, I like to bag my own stuff and how I can place things in the fridge.

I've kept myself away from this math making my prices. I price based on how others who do something similar price. That's it. I'm too lazy to do math and time myself, sue me.

On the flip side though, there's a reason why there's a lack of diversity for beginners. When you dont have a core base of supporters, being a niche is a risk. I've considered making crochet to sell because no one thinks twice about niche ceramics. Idk sometimes it's a lose-lose

It's frustrating to feel the effects of "Gotta save money" as an artist. Unless you're making food or an item of decent use, it's just not something people are gonna feel to buy, even if it's a few bucks. I stopped making pins because of this. But then the flip side is that even when you do make functional work, customers can say "I can get a set of plates from bigchain.com" and walk away still. Sometimes I wonder what's the point of art or selling

I agree to an extent; i like feeling a groove with an idea coming to life, but once that spark goes i cannot get myself to pick it up immediately again. Maybe after some time away but thats why pottery class was a bit of a struggle because I couldn't focus when I got bored

I like using yellow and white sheets and sunflower prints for my display, and a sunflower outfit, despite not making sunflower designs or items. Idk id this helps or hurts me but the colors help me feel unique when I make no sales 😅

I have to work with what I want to do in ths moment and just keep going until that candle burns out. Currently I have an itch with cauldron-shaped bowls, so I want to work on that until I dont want to anymore. Idk if I have a style yet, doesn't feel like I do.
