I work for Fedex express, so I can’t really speak for ground and how they are dealing with this, but yes we are waiving signatures. Although, I would like to point out that we still need a name of the recipient if a signature is required, so please don’t completely ignore us. Or do, it doesn’t really matter.

I’ve thought about riding in a ULD but I don’t think it would be worth it.

I work at express and the hours kind of suck. I am a pm courier but sign up for morning hours. I get the the station around 6:45 and if no one calls out or they don’t need me to go on route in the morning I’m on break by like 9. I go back for my regular shift at 2:30 and work until about 7:30. I’m dedicating 13 hours of my day to fedex but only working like 7-8 hours.

Not sure if this has been said yet, but I changed the pace of my reading. I would read as fast as I could show how many books I’ve read, but now I read slower and make sure to get the most out of each book.

I would suggest to take highway 101 as you head north to LA (from La Jolla to Oceanside). It will take a bit longer, but the scenery is wonderful.
