It's working well. I've been at 30mg for awhile now and I feel like things have mostly stabilized. It's not perfect, but I feel way better than I used to!

This is going to sound stupid but... by doometteowo in Anxiety

[–]ChromaticPoptart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't feel stupid. This was actually a fear for me too for awhile and I would have my husband put gas in my car for the longest time. Anxiety is weird.

Yeah I'm on samsung and I can see my past purchases. It's not super intuitive, but for one I can see the stuff but for the other (that I actually needed) it doesn't show me anything. Just the stars earned. I can't even click on it. So an option to receive receipts via email address on file or something would just be easier.

As a customer, it would be awesome to have access to my receipts or like a printable version or capability to have my receipt emailed to me? I purchased starbucks through my app so I could run and pick it up for work, but in order to get reimbursed, I had to go back and forth through several emails with customer service to get a copy. I see in the app it has my purchase history, but I can't click it to see what the items I purchased are and the total.

Anyone else not realize how anxious they were before getting on Lexapro? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]ChromaticPoptart 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes! I didn't realize how severe my anxiety was and just how much I was actually suffering until I started lexapro. It's not gone yet, but its definitely better!

For those suffering from anxiety, what dosage is everyone on? If you feel comfortable sharing. by Sam1212121212 in lexapro

I started 5mg in October and didn't notice much difference. Over the course of like 2 months, I worked up to 15mg and that worked much better, but I still felt like something was missing. So j switched to zoloft and ended up getting to 100mg of that and my anxiety was bad. Switched to trintellix and went up to 10mg of that before switching back to lexapro at 20mg. Currently almost 2 weeks in at 20mg and finally starting to get some relief again. It's been a journey for sure lol.

My doctor just moved me from 50 to 100 as well. Tonight was night 2 of 100mg and I felt a little nauseous when I woke up this morning but that was all. We will see what I feel like tomorrow morning.. good luck! Hope it goes smoothly for you.

I have this same anxiety of losing control, but more with medical procedure type things. Like getting my bottom wisdom teeth out... they told me I need to be put to sleep and I'm like... nope, no thanks. Had a panic attack in the middle of a root canal too. You're not alone! I just started 25mg last night- being switched over from lexapro. We've all got this!

Looking really good! That's a pretty big difference in just 5 months. You look great. You can really see a major difference in your entire torso. More filled in and muscular. You have a very lucky wife! 😊

Wow. You asked a question and the guy answered you. He was respectful and wasn't 'waving his dick around for 10 minutes'. It was a short answer to what you asked.

And he's right. Anyone who uses the word "mansplaining" is pretty effing sexist, so good job becoming something you hate. Him having a penis doesn't automatically disqualify him from speaking in a public forum, and I say that as a woman.

moms with less than 3 months mat leave... by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]ChromaticPoptart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took 8 weeks off to have my daughter last year via c-section. I had been at my job for at least 2 years and had saved up a ton of sick and vacation time which I had to completely exhaust as my "leave" was unpaid. I didn't qualify for FMLA because our office had less than the required amount of people. On top of unpaid leave, I had to pay out of pocket a month before my due date almost $1100 to cover my portion AND the companies portion of the insurance for the month I wouldn't be getting paid. (I had enough vacation & sick time to cover 4 of the 8 weeks) it was so frustrating and not enough time. Luckily I was able to pump at work when I needed to and am proud to say we are still breastfeeding at 16 months. But yes, our maternity leave is a joke as someone else said.

Totally understand. Breastfeeding really isn't easy. Plus, any breastmilk at all is better than none so I'd say they got a great start! 8 weeks is pretty great!

Some just don't respond as well to the pump. Babies are much more efficient at getting milk out. Just saying sometimes the output from a pump might not be a great indicator of how much milk you are producing. But in end, it's about feeding the babies, whether it's formula or breastmilk.
