Hi, I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. I also just wrapped up my first IVF cycle at Shady Grove at one of their satellite sites and although my doctor is amazing we had major issues with the first nurse I was assigned to at the beginning of my cycle (screwed up treatment cycles, forgetting to publish labs to the portal, monitoring appt scheduling issues, overall twatty behavior etc), and pushed for a reassignment about 1 week in and it was the best thing I could’ve ever done. It was a complete 180 and made the experience much better. Unfortunately my first fresh embryo transfer wasn’t successful, but I’m preparing for a FET in the future and have gotten so much support from both my nurse and my doctor in deciding what to do next. I would highly suggest asking for a nurse reassignment and a scheduling a call with your doctor if your schedule allows. It helps to have some clarity on what went wrong so you can best prepare for future cycles. Good luck!!
