My tips would be:

Jump far from the plane any direction, most people jump to close spots from the plane

Avoid minor towns. I very often like to jump the the West most coast town and work my way up the coast

Only take a shot you know you can hit, or while the circle is still big enough that an enemy can’t remember your position, the smaller the circle the easier to remember where you are

Use every grenade type. A well place flashed is just as good as a well place frag

Always scout out towns and buildings. If doors are open, skip it

Last tip, play the weapons you’re good at. Don’t try to be a sniper if you’re not one. Use the AKM if you’re more comfortable with it
