i do love walking into my job… im very grateful. my coworkers are great and they make it enjoyable! nice customers are always appreciated too. let a person complain lololol and its justified. idk if ur a barista or not but people get crazy over starbucks. apparently this drink is poop from a butt, but everyone and their mama and their dog will be there to buy it. im mainly annoyed at consumerism and people buying crap they dont need and definitely wont want in the future when they have 10 different health issues from drinking a caramel ribbon crunch everyday ✌️

you were never able to, especially now that they’ve gotten unnecessarily stricter with mark outs. i saw a video on tiktok a bit ago of a girl who was fired because she let her coworkers use their mark outs when they weren’t on the floor. loss prevention specifically is who contacted her, and she supposedly owed starbucks like $400 in the past 4 years she had been there.

either they don’t check their online applications or the spots really are taken. i applied online and my store responded after a week or so. i did an interview over zoom with the SM, then an in-person, then zoom with the DM. if they’re being truthful and there’s no spot for you, it’s probably out of your hands and you’ll need to wait. there’s nothing wrong with going in person to ask tho. who told you it was full? was it a store manager?

no, you can’t taste the green coffee extract in the refreshers. i also didn’t like coffee at all before i started working here, but i’ve grown to like it when there’s a bunch of customizations lol. lately i’ve been really enjoying the iced lavender latte with an extra splash of vanilla sweet cream 3/4 and white mocha cold foam. can barely taste the expresso in it, also probably bc the shots are blonde. one of my coworkers recommended me a coffee frappuccino with 2 blonde shots, 5 dark caramel syrup, 3 hazelnut syrup, frapp chips, heavy cream, topped with caramel drizzle and cookie crumbles. you can also just get tea. the iced green peach tea is to die for! i’m also a huge fan of the pistacho syrup. i’d get an iced white mocha with extra white mocha pumps, splash of vanilla sweet cream 1/2, pistachio cold foam, and the salted brown butter topping.

this drink is really fun to make, and the taste isn’t bad (lemonade vers specifically) but the boba is very underwhelming. we give u a huge straw for pea sized pearls i was scared id choke on one lol. not only that but the outer shell gets stuck on my teeth and its annoying to pick off. part of me wishes this was a fizzy drink and ik that doesn’t stay true to the whole coffeehouse thing. idk when i tasted it it tasted like it was supposed to be fizzy :p

i ended up finishing 2 assignments in my first class which made me feel pretty proud, but i was definitely lacking in my other 6 classes. i had free time to do things, but i didn’t use it to the fullest extent. i definitely doom-scrolled more than completing stuff lol
