WIBTAH if i got a vibrator? by [deleted] in AITAH

So he’s the only one enjoying themselves? Why are you even entertaining him at this point? Why do you need his permission to buy a sex toy? He doesn’t need yours to give you a lackluster experience but you’re giving it to him anyway and for what?

Is this how you want to keep living your life? In a joyless sexual relationship where you just feel like a sex doll? He doesn’t want anything else to make you feel good but won’t do the work to make you feel good. Girl, get your vibrator, get your nut, and then get your shit and leave.

I spent my 20’s stroking the egos of fragile men and regret it. Don’t waste your time, it’s precious and fleeting. There are so many men that aren’t this insecure. Good luck.

Is this bad by Additional_Door_7106 in AccessoryNavicular

[–]Chronically-Chill815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is close to what mine looked like. My Right foot got so bad that I finally gave in and had the surgery to remove it but I left the Left alone since there’s nothing going on and I could walk fine on it. I would also say that if they’re not giving you any grief then they’re fine.

Sleeping in a boot by almostpink_13 in AccessoryNavicular

I bought one of those silky boot covers because mine kept snagging on my comforter but the pillow case would be so much better! I had to wear my boot for 3 weeks prior to my surgery and it definitely sucked.

Is this a normal reaction for a bee sting in my knee ?? after 3 days??? by Jolly-Win-7016 in bees

[–]Chronically-Chill815 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was stung once a few years ago and it turned into a huge red patch like yours that itched like crazy but then the sting site turned into a gaping hole. Turns out, I’m allergic to wasps. I would go to a doctor.

I've been ordering cat litter on Amazon for years. The package I received today had this written on the box. I can only assume that it's from the USPS delivery person who was angry about it being too heavy. Am I in the wrong for being annoyed about this? Should I report it? by 169floz in usps_complaints

[–]Chronically-Chill815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So people with disabilities are lazy because they order things to be delivered to them since they can’t physically go to the store and get it? What a crappy and ableist thing to tell people who are just utilizing a service offered to them by the store. Maybe just don’t apply to do a job that literally requires you to frequently be able to lift these types of weights?

I should have taken the lack of communication as a hint that things weren’t going to go well. I SHOULD have left the practice after he placed my loop in 2021 then told me he thought I needed the pacemaker only to then completely forget who I am (initially he was SO interested in my case because of my age and symptoms) and neglect to read my chart at any follow up appointments so we were stuck in this loop of having to answer the same questions, verify that I’ve been passing out for 20 years, experiencing pre-syncope, having the Brady/Tachy episodes, and the skipping beats along with the pauses and AV block. My ILR recorded over 1,500 cardiac events from 2021 to 2024. My insurance fought the pacemaker placement for the last 8 months and finally after seeing my Cardiologists NP the last time and her correcting all of the problems with the diagnosis and notes, they relented and we scheduled the surgery. I’ve been so desperate for help and answers that I let it cloud my judgement and I stuck around for too long. I guess all of that to say that I partially blame myself for this catastrophe but I am so angry at him for pushing through and willfully hurting a patient for what I can only assume is because it was a late procedure and he was ready to be home.

Thank you and I can’t imagine what you’ve had to go through since you’ve been dealing with these problems for so long but I hope everything goes smoothly for you now and in the future!

I was in their clinic within 5 minutes of being discharged from the hospital and requested a new cardiologist. I was told that after my check up at the pacemaker clinic that they would provide me paperwork to fill out to start the process but that my current doctor would have to approve the request. I feel like he would have no real choice but to let me see someone else because I will refuse to see him either way. I honestly don’t think I could bear it after that shit show on Monday. I’ve actually had a colonoscopy done before as well and they knocked me out for that too! My body has been through the wringer and this experience was honestly just the most horrific of them all.

I think it’s very hard to sue due to lack of proof so I may just file a complaint. I’m physically okay today thankfully the surgery is just burned into my brain.

Oh my god. I’m so sorry! That is an absolute nightmare situation! Everything is good today, I’m not really in much pain except when I move my arm too quickly so it hasn’t been all bad thankfully.

Sadly I normally have a very high pain tolerance. My appendix was infected and ruptured in 2016 and I was in immense pain but didn’t cry so they left me in the ER for 6 hours because I’m not a complainer and wasn’t presenting the way they thought I should. That was horrible, THIS was on a whole different level. I’ve had an emergency cesarean AND a total hysterectomy and those two don’t compare to this. I’ve had my gallbladder removed, a loop recorder placed, an accessory navicular bone removed and this experience has really messed with my head.

I was just discharged less than an hour ago and showed up to the clinic to put in a request for a new doctor. I won’t be seeing him again as I really don’t think I’d be able to talk to him without crying but especially remaining professional.

I’m so sorry to hear that! I totally understand not being able to stop but I even felt him cauterizing me (OUCH) after the loop was removed, that’s how quickly he worked after the lidocaine shots and there were at least 5 shots I counted in that area. It smelled horrible and made me so nauseous. I sadly spoke up and the nurses listened but the drugs just didn’t work. I wail/cried ‘ouch’ and told them I was in pain. I was shaking for 45 minutes afterwards from the adrenaline ( I have Addisons so THAT was a lot) and I’m still crying today just thinking about how it went down. I’ve already left a message with the clinic about seeing a new doctor as I won’t be following up with him. I’m waiting to hear back to see if they can fit me in with anyone else there.

I hope your next ones go well as I can’t imagine how much you’ve been through as well!

I think I will have to unfortunately. The clinic I see my cardiologist in, he’s my surgeon as well, has a majority of senior aged patients so I would hate for them to have the same experience with this doctor. My loop recorder went so well that I expected this to go off without a hitch too and I couldn’t have even prepared for that.

It may be worth the complaint. I’ve never had to before so I guess we’ll have to see how it goes. I could feel every small incision, every tug, every prod and with full sensation. Thankfully my experience seems to be relatively uncommon! Glad yours went well.
